The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

Anita was great and a lot of fun. We learned a lot about where Venetian food comes from and also the spritzer, Bellini and ombré white wine. I almost didn’t go because we were so tired from our travel day but I’m so glad we did.

What a fun evening. Emma our tour guide was great! Emma made sure we had enough to eat and drink at every stop. All of the offerings were tasty! She told us about the area as we walked. It was a great group of people and that helped make it a fun evening.

We really enjoyed this tour and Valentina was a fanatic guide around the local food spots. She explained all the restaurants and food, and had recommendations, not requirements. It was very cool to be a part of the local spots and be welcomed into every stop. Highly recommend because you will try foods you have never tried before.

This tour was amazing and it was so delightful to try foods we would otherwise never try. Each meal came with a beverage and foods to sample. The locals were so nice to our tour group and Valentina made us feel very welcomed at every stop. Valentina was amazing at explaining each restaurant in great detail, the food and drink options, and made it clear that she had recommendations/suggestions not requirements. 10/10 Recommend this tour.

Valentina was a perfect guide! She was knowledgeable and took us to some local taverns to try local cuisine and drinks. The food and drinks were very nice! Perfect way to end the night in Venice!

Valentina as a great guide, and took us to all the best places! The portions were generous and there was a different alcoholic drink if you wanted it at each spot. Would highly recommend to taste and see a nice variety of Venice.

It was memorable experience not only because of delicious food and tons of wine, but because of our wonderful guide Emma, who made it very special. I would totally recommend this tour to everyone who wants to be taken for an adventure and threaten like Kings and Queens!
