My family and I visited and had the worst experience! To start out with, we drove almost 2 hours just to come to Legoland. When we arrived we were told one of the two rides was down with no estimated repair time. We were refused a discount and told we could just choose to not buy tickets. Of course we couldn’t really just leave after having driven that far. Of course to not offer a discount when one of only two rides is broken down is completely bogus! Then when we got inside the entire facility was filthy, it looked like it had never been cleaned before! The Lego exhibits were grimy and dusty and the floors looked as though they had never been cleaned ever before. The bathrooms were the worst! There was no toilet paper in most of the stalls although there was plenty on the ground, the toilet seats were covered in urine, and several toilets were overflowing with toilet paper and waste. Even the Lego store itself had copious amounts of legos scattered all over the floor. The building was absolutely freezing to the point you could literally almost see your breath. My husband who is never cold even commented that it was too cold for kids to play in safely and not appropriate. The 4D movie wasn’t very impressive and not all of the features were even working. At the build your own car station most of the axel pieces were bent to the point you couldn’t even use them to make a car go. Crucial Lego pieces to assemble the wheels weren’t even present at all. Kids were climbing up the ramp to test cars on in the presence of employees so you couldn’t even try to test your cars out and none of the employees could be bothered to say anything to anyone. The snack shop closed more than an hour and a half prior to the facility closing with no warning. My toddler was hungry and thirsty and we were told we couldn’t even carry anything in or come and go to even have a snack outside. In the pirate play area there were older kids throwing the large legos as hard as they could all over the place in front of the employees. Yes their parents should have stopped them but so should have the employees. Someone could very easily have been hurt, especially so close to the toddler play area. My son and I both almost got hurt and I am 7 month pregnant. We were put in harms way multiple times and also denied the ability to eat and drink which I need to do for medical reasons. My entire family is very into legos and I would’ve expected much better of an experience from a facility associated with lego.

We had a horrible experience followed by a terrible attitude by your manager Jay.
When we arrived the cafeteria was not working, the room temperature in the playroom area was freezing throughout our visit (even though we all complained several time). My 4 year old was coughing due to the freezing temperatures the whole time.
The movie theatre was not available and the save the princess ride didn’t work (we rode it twice with no luck and were asked to return later throughout the day.
There were no characters even though they are advertised as part of the experience.
We were there for almost 2 hours waiting for everything to work but my kids eventually got very bored and cold in the playroom area (the only attraction currently working)
When I talked to Jay on our way out he had a horrible attitude and told us that everything was going to be working soon but didn’t offer any compensation or solution to our very bad experience so we decided to leave.
We’ve visited Florida’s Lego land and were very excited to visit Chicago’s discovery center. We are very disappointed.

This is a good way to kill a few hours but it's not worth the $25/person price tag. The place is rather small and some of the rides are usually out of order, but kids love the play structure. Maybe worth a trip if you can get BOGO tix or other deal, but you'll be disappointed if you pay full price.

A detestable welcome, US$100 for 1 adult and 3 children, and the very present feeling of being ripped off. How is it possible to ask for so much money for so little? 2 rooms, 2 attractions including one which was broken, the other which was stopped for 1 hour and 1 4D film of exceptional nullity.
Run away…

We have been to other Legolands in the past and had such a great time. This one was AWFUL! So tiny and way too many people admitted. We literally stayed 10 minutes which was a total waste of the $30 per person tickets. Every area was pure chaos. Would recommend Legoland Kansas City but not this one.

Excellent place, perfect for children and adults. The staff has a good disposition and kindness. I speak Spanish and English, but they have kids who make an effort if you don't speak it or who speak Spanish in some cases. I was with my boys of 2, 6 and 16 years old and they all had a great time 💯

There is a spot to build your own car with a ramp you can try it out on, the kids LOVED it. There are 2 rides but one was out of order, the other ride was very fun for the kiddos and it was unlimited rides. I was not a fan of having to pay for the tickets (over $100) plus the photos you can take there you can’t get unless you pay extra for them. I think they should have been included with the ticket.

The different rooms in this legoland are very similar. Although the themes differ, the activities per room are all the same with the exception of the play area. I would suggest they change the type of activities with Legos by having them more interactive.
It is a nice activity, but it is not categorized as "need to repeat"

This review is for legoland discovery center Milpitas CA. Bottom line - save your money. It takes about forty minutes to go through this entire facility at a leisure pace. Kids bored after 1.5 hours. Staff was a mixed bag of helpfulness balanced with teenage sour. Best exhibit was mini land. Everything else was a yawn.
