With this card we saved a lot of money by visiting as many places of interests listed in the brochure as possible. Start early and come back late but don’t forget but don’t forget to have some cash in hand for food because not all shops take credit cards. The 2-day pass would be sufficient if one plans the time properly.

If possible, plan exactly what you want to see before your trip. Some of the attractions mentioned in the pass are free per se. The opening times, especially of the museums, make it difficult to make full use of the pass. Especially since the pass holders have to queue, for example at Westminster Abbey. At least you don't have to wait at the ticket offices that are separate from the entrance, for example at the London Eye.

We visited London in May 2024. for a first time tourist the London pass works best in my opinion if you want to visit the major tourist attractions. We bought a seven day pass and were able to use it at all the places with ease. There was a pleasant inclusion of Merlin attractions after we purchased our pass. In all were able to good use and good savings with the London pass. Just a small suggestion, it would be great if the credits utilised and balance is updated in app itself rather than us calling the call centre to check on vacation. The customer helpline chat and call at one time gave a wait time of almost 30 min. Email reply also came after 3 days. So it's best of we can see the balance in the app itself. I'm sure it's not much for the tech team to do. In conclusion its worth a buy if u use it wisely. Would surely recommend.

This might save you money-- but it needs to be booked far in advance as some places need reservations and when we tried to make reservations close to our travel date we were told by these attractions "You'll have a hard time getting a ticket, we don't allocate many to the London Pass." Their site also listed one of our top attractions we wanted to go to (one of the reasons we bought this pass ) but when we go there, we were informed it was not part of the London pass even though listed on their site. When contacting them, they offered a 5% refund (we bought 8 passes, spent >$1200 so 5% for all this mess seems stupid. We called customer support again, they offered 10% refund but that is it (after over an hour on the phone). THeir site says that they will refund the difference if you don't save money. But when I asked about that, they said it was not possible. I would only consider this pass if bought very far in advance so you could make reservations. We did not get to see many of our top sites on this pass because of their scheduling/cancelling their attractions, etc. They aren't to eager or willing to make things right. Personally, would not use again.

It was our first time in London as a family and we wanted to see lots of the classic sights. The London Pass was worth it for that.
We had already booked The Shard and London Eye in advance, and using the app worked well.

But the information in the app is not always correct!
This is the big criticism I have: The app said that you can take hop on hop off bus rides with 2 providers: Big Bus and Golden Tour. That was supposed to be our start in London.
On Whit Monday, the Big Buses were all hopelessly overcrowded, we were sent to 3 stops in Paddington and it took ages for a Big Bus to arrive. The one that did arrive was so full that no one was allowed to get on. All the Golden Tours bus drivers refused to take people with London Passes, and some of them stood in Paddington and waited. Apparently the Golden Tours Pass has not been valid for many weeks. I was very annoyed! We waited for 2 hours and then, frustrated, took the tube. We wasted half a day. On Whit Monday we were only able to see one !!! attraction. But since we also visited expensive attractions on days 2 and 3, the pass was still worth it for us.

We bought a 5 attraction pass in 2016 and a 7 day pass in May 2024. Especially the 7 day pass put us on a certain degree of stress as you would like to cover at least the expenses. With a coupon we found externally our expenses of around 200 GBP per person were barely covered. I guess we would have passed on one or two attractions without the pass. I guess e.g. the Fullers Brewery-Tour is mainly visited just because of the Pass.
A thing we did not really knew is the caveat that you can use the London Pass exactly once per attraction during the run of the pass. Especiallly the Uber Boat would have been a major advantage to have during the run of the ticket and not just one day.
As mentioned in another review at Westminster Abbey we were put in a separate "London Pass" - waiting queue.
On our first trip we decided to buy a fast lane ticket on London Eye as the standard line was to long - the fast lane was as high as the regular pass.
In 2016 we were "repelled" by Madame Tussauds as the regular queues's end was almost to the Baker Street subway station. You would have to buy a separate ticket online at Madame Tussauds to get into the fast track.
Personally I think most of the ticket entry prices might got inflated just because of the London Pass...
In summary the London Pass might spare you the hassle of individual purchase of tickets (online). Put I don't really think you will save much.
And do not get any ideas about the "budget limit" of the time limited passes. We're taling about over 900 GBP for a 10 day ticket as spend "limit". As you can use any attraction only once per ticket I think that limit is only virtual.

We saved about 300 bucks for 3 days in London. We used the big bus tour to get to all the places we wanted to see. London zoo was cool. The castles. The museums. All fabulous.

We bought a 2 person 4 day London Pass weeks in advance and had to juggle our plans last minute due to the rail strikes.
We ended up using the Pass for only 3 sites across 3 days. Lost over £100 as a result. We could easily have obtained entrance in person to each site. I would strongly advise against using the London Pass. We are retired and losing so much money is very hard on us.

The London Pass is only worth it if you plan everything; most "attractions" have to be reserved in advance - then there is no time for spontaneity or it turns into stressed sightseeing. We had the London Pass and planned to take the Big Bus to everywhere. Due to the chaotic traffic situation, this was practically impossible. We ended up taking the subway to get to our booked time slots. We couldn't get in at "The Shard" because the quotas were exhausted (5 p.m. and nothing was happening); buying tickets - not an option for us...
