In our experience we visit places not visited by the masses, we will take you to the town of Mano Juan, the only places inside the island where theres people leaving in a small community. Here we will know a community leader who run the turtle conservation area, we will have the time for learn about Turtle and how important they are for the planet. In Mano Juan, we will serve you a breakfast, with sandwiches, juices and fruits.
After Mano Juan Beach, We will be visiting a secret location beach, with beautiful landscapes, white sands beaches, perfect beach for jump in the water and enjoy the Caribbean Sea of Dominican Republic.
After we will continue to the famous Abanico Beach, here we will enjoy a private self service buffet lunch with Dominican Food. After lunch we will continue to Palmilla Beach to The Natural pools to see star fish.Snorkeling

My husband and out couple friends decided to do this tour and it was hands down the best tour I've ever been on. Melvin’s knowledge of the island did not disappoint. From knowing the best views and times to go places to teach us about the cultural and environmental back ground of the DR. He really balanced educating us with making sure we had a good time perfectly. Take this tour you won't regret it. I enjoyed it so much my husband and I are coming back this summer with our son and doing this tour again!

Book this tour! You will not regret it! Although it's pricier than the "cattle boats" that haul masses of drunken parties to the island, it is much nicer and well worth the cost (in fact, I think it was a great value considering the incredible level of service and quality). There are lots of great reviews on this page, so I won't repeat everything...but if I could rate this higher than a 5, I would. The best part of this tour for me was our host Melvin and his team. He really shared the history and culture of the DR with us, and he clearly loves sharing this with visitors. The first stop in the village of Mano Juan is beautiful and a great cultural experience with the turtle sanctuary. Melvin and his wife wake early every morning and prepare a simple but delicious breakfast of tropical fruits, juices, and toasted sandwiches. This is a big plus over other tours because most of these tours pick you up before breakfast is served at you resort...so this holds you over until lunch time. Also, there are very few tours that stop at Mano Juan. The fact that Melvin and team got us to each location ahead of the crowds is quite a bonus. My wife and I felt this trip was the highlight of our DR vacation. Thanks Melvin for making us feel like "Familia"!!

This was an amazing trip and so worth the money and time!! It’s an early start but worth it as you get to the islands before the crowds. Melvin and his team were so amazing and couldn’t do more for you! Melvin took loads of photos and sent them to us on the way back in the mini bus (this is air conditioned with WiFi). Melvin taught us all about the DR & found the trip so informative! 100% would recommend! Thankyou so much again for a brilliant day from start to finish

Highly recommend this tour, even with the early start time! Melvin is a great tour guide and very informative. You arrive at the destinations before the crowds of other people so it feels like a very private event. Definitely worth it!

My family of five took this tour in late May and had a wonderful time. I found our tour to be consistent with other positive reviews. Melvin did a wonderful job giving us a history lesson of the Dominican Republic and explaining the itinerary for the day on the ride to the marina. It is obvious that Melvin cares about providing a unique, personable experience for his guests. He also cares deeply for the local people, economy, and environment and tries to support positive causes. We arrived early to the first two stops and had the beautiful Bulls Bay beach to ourselves. Breakfast was adequate and lunch was delicious. After breakfast, we had an open bar with access to rum with punch or sodas, water, and beer. The staff does a great job helping you on and off the boat and mixing drinks for you. The staff is attentive to needs but also lets you enjoy peace, quiet, and solitude if you so choose during the stops at the beaches. We really enjoyed snorkeling on the later part of the tour and finding the starfish. I highly recommend this tour. You won't regret it. Melvin was very grateful and appreciative for the well deserved tip we left at the end of the tour.

The tour was amazing! We almost gave up visiting Saona island due to all reviews about party boats (we went with our 4 year old daughter). Then we found this tour and I can say that it well worth the money :)
The island is amazing, tour guide as well, all the staff was really nice and helpful with our kid. Food was great, we had the chance to visit all the beaches before the crowds, so all in all it was one amazing day and I fully recommend it to everyone!

This was a fun day!!! The pick up was early but this allows you to get to the beaches before the big crowds.
The tour company should consider NOT stopping at El Toro beach (it smells like manure) and do more time snorkeling in one of the many beautiful spots we went past.
The food and drinks are ok. BRING MORE ICE!!!!!!! Also, the activity is described as a "small group" and this is true (12 people in my group). HOWEVER, please be aware that you are grouped together with another small group of people and the 2 boats travel together. Total of 24 people to get off the boat, get back on the boat, etc..... But was still manageable.
Our tide guide was great and very informative. The time spent at each spot (with exception of Toro beach) was great.

Melvin was awesome, loved the mix of historical facts, sight seeing, and activities.
He and his wife run this operation very well, food was on point.
The highlights were:
Learning about the country,
Tortuga Negro, his story, and town,
Being ahead of the crowds,
The starfish and snorkeling.
I could have skipped the second location, there seemed to be a smell and a lot of bugs that bit.
Overall, I would sign up for any tour Melvin organises.

Without a doubt the best excursion we have ever been on. From start to finish Melvin was the perfect host. The early start meant we were first to the beaches. The days highlights were to many to mention. Pristine beaches to snorkling for star fish. If you want to avoid the bigger party boats then this is the trip to book.
