We have brought our family from Australia to München and wanted to take them to Neuschwanstein castle and this trip fired the bill. The driver Dragon and guide Johnny did the Rothenburg trip we did in October and were great on this trip. Lots of information and great organisation from Johnny despite some of the other trip goers not being able to tell the time but that’s people for you. You get to see two famous palaces, at mini break in Oberamagau and marvel at the Bavarian alps. It was a really great day.

Our guide Ursula did a fantastic job. Very informative with pictures as well. Linderhof and Neuschwanstein were amazing. Even our bus driver, Vlade, was a great host. There’s a shuttle to Neuschwanstein. Take it. Don’t walk up or take horse carriage. Didn’t see it in other reviews. The walk back is easy. Definitely recommend this tour.

From start to finish, the tour with our guide, Monika and bus driver, Vladi was excellent. Highly recommend however it is rated as moderate and we found the walk up and in Neuschwanstein to be strenuous.

Didn’t appreciate being left to last just because I’m a solo traveller, really poor service, way to make someone feel good, NOT! AND you overcharged for the tickets, did not appreciate that at all, that’s just wrong.

After 2 days in big and busy Munich we looked forward to this day trip to get out into the Bavarian countryside. We covered a lot of ground visiting the Linderhof Palace, Oberammergau, and then the Neuschwanstein Castle. Tour guide Courtney and bus driver Bobby got us through all of it in a way that we were informed, had plenty of time to explore and do what we wanted, and kept us on schedule even with busy traffic and windy roads. Be sure to have 3 Euros/person for a bus ride to the toot visit Neuschwanstein or it's a 45-minute walk uphill.

The guided tour in the castle was good but the actual entrance time at 3:30/3:40pm and getting back to the motorcoach by 4:30pm for a 4:45/5pm departure time is simply too short.

Greyline company should consider skipping one lsmall town in the tour.
