It was a tour of the opera house. There's not a lot to say. The architecture was impressive. The highlight for me was dinner at the opera house. They have the best fish and chips that I've ever tasted. So make sure you choose the dinner option so that you can try it for yourself.
The atmosphere was great, but I was there during the Vivid lights festival

This is an amazing experience. There are a lot of stairs however the experience of seeing inside of this beautiful building was worth it. These memories will be with me forever. There is so much history—happy 50th Birthday to this building.

Very knowledgeable tour guide gave a lot of information about design, and operations of the Opera House. Very easy walking tour for a little more than an hour.

Seeing the Opera House up close and being able to be inside a variety of spaces.
The architecture and design was amazing to see. Hearing the background story behind what happened during it's design and build.
The help that staff provided to make sure we were able to attend the tour was appreciated as our presence, with kids in tow, had overbooked the tour by one 2 year old!
I loved it and to top it off we enjoyed a tasty meal together looking out over the harbour at the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

This is a must-do in Sydney. The docents are so knowledgeable about the architecture and history. If you are lucky, like we were, you might enjoy a warm up ballet session and an orchestra rehearsal.
