This is an Independent coach tour, where you travel on a combination of touring coaches and sightseeing services with commentary and/or point to point coaches which may not have commentary. You will be with different people on each part of the tour and different drivers. The maximum number of people on the tour is between 25-45 pax. You have free time to explore on your own and are free to choose where and when to eat, meals are not included unless specified.

Missing the Hole in the Rock and standing in the rain at the Cape. Because our schedule changed we encountered weather that limited our options. If the original schedule had applied we would have seen everything we booked for. When we booked we did not know we would be taking a city bus to and from Auckland. We were expecting a tour bus. I would recommend anyone to make their own way to Bay of Islands and book their tours when they arrive.

If I could recommend any tour this is the one! If I could give it more than five stars I would! Amazing from start to finish! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The sights were unforgettable. Really felt immersed in the Māori culture! I would go again in heartbeat!

Tanya is an outstanding tour guide/bus driver. We enjoyed all of our experiences.
From riding the tour bus on the beach, looking for beautiful sea shells, walking out to Cape Reinga, viewing the coast and sliding down the sand dunes.
We also really enjoyed the culture Waitangi tour and walking the entire property. Also - great gifts in the gifts shop.
Bay of Islands- great boat cruise!! We saw tons of dolphins on route and a few near the hole in the rock. Really enjoyed the short hikes on Otehei Bay.

This was a great tour that included all of the things that I wanted to experience in the Northland. All of the details were taken care- pick ups and drop offs were seamless and I all I had to do was show up. The drivers/tour guides had great personalities (Rachel, was especially informative and entertaining) and they all took great care of us. I was traveling on my own through NZ, and I didn't want to bother with a car, so this tour was absolutely perfect for me! Also the tour coordinator sent me a very detailed itinerary with all the contact info that I could possibly need, which was really wonderful. Truly a great experience and a fantastic company to book with!

Great experience to join this tour as it includes all the major spots in the NZ's northern area. Bus drivers are very professional and polite. Regarding to the hotel accommodation, the room is quite good. The location is very convenient. It takes about 5 minutes to reach a supermarket. One minor thing is that the kettle in the 3 star hotel is dirty and old. Paihia is definitely the place you have to go if you would like to take a break in a small town/village for few days.

This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to the North Island of New Zealand! Everything was spot on, from the accommodations, to the tour conductors. Highly recommend!
