One hour original and unique training which cannot be found other place. You could learn some ninja techniques by hands-on training in English.
Ninja training start with courtesy of the dojo and ninja meditation 'Kuji-kiri'. You could learn breath control of ninja like Yoga. Also basic walking of Japanese martial arts and Ninja walking.

I was looking into Samurai/Ninja "experiences" online, many of them were booked far in advance. Those types are often booked up by tourist types, and can be "tourist traps" to drain you of money as well. I was up late one night in Kyoto doing some research and fell upon this little Dojo. We arrived 45 minutes early and were greeted with coffee/tea. It was quiet - we were the only couple there.
What followed was a very cool experience. We were allowed to try throwing Shuriken (stars) and a Kunai on a rope (this is what Scorpion in Mortal Kombat uses for you nerds like me ha ha). I also train a little bit in weapons martial arts, and was allowed to try throwing the Kunai as a throwing knife. We were taught more important things like footwork, how to place your foot to be silent in the night, and also how to properly unsheath and sheath your Katana.
My favourite parts were the personalized teaching on how to properly throw Shuriken (star types) and how to toss the Kunai on a rope. My spouse had a blast with everything, and seemed to really love the Blowgun/darts aspect - she was deadly at it!
I would highly recommend this place, because their shop was also modest and honest. Proper starts, shuriken, kunai (I mean sharpened - follow your local country laws when bringing through customs :P) and they were very reasonably priced.
Overall - wonderful staff, very knowledgeable in Ninjiutsu techniques while making it a very fun time. It was favourable to tourists and people who do not know anything about this kind of thing, while also being very accommodating to those who had some background.
They also took great photos and shared them with us through an easy process.
I can't say enough! We both had such an amazing time! And it was something that I planned on the fly, which my spouse LOVED!! *HINT - Date Experience *

Superb experience! The ninja sensei and facilities were top-notch. Instruction was interesting, interactive, very supportive, and full on ninja! Dressed up in ninja outfits, taught us movements and words, how to use swords, poison darts, flying stars, and other ninja techniques and background. My wife and I and our 12 year-old boys had a fantastic time. Our sensei herself was an actual ninja as made obvious by her knowledge and explanations and movements. Plus they take many photos and videos and send them to you (for free!) after the experience. Plus they sell ninja swords, stars and other equipment, if you are so inclined. Zero sales pitch. Easily worth multiples of the modest charge. Pure joy and fun. Highly recommend!

Excellent instructor who showed us how to use a sword and other fun tricks/weapons, he showed us how to use secret hideouts and we all had such a good time! It was fun to dress up, learn and practice being a ninja!

Super fun experience! It's a really great way to spend a couple hours in the afternoon in Kyoto when it's hot out. We had a great time throwing shuriken and hitting targets across the room with blow darts! I would recommend this to people of all ages and backgrounds.

The lesson was fantastic — the instructor’s skills were incredible, and she made the class interesting and fun! The throwing stars, blowgun and escape door were especially cool.

I immediately felt immersed as soon as I had the attire on. The professor spoke great English, was easy to talk to, was quite masterful and spunky, and an incredibly fun and patient sensei! I went with my sister, and we really enjoyed the experience.
This will be one of my favorite experiences in all of Japan, and I am grateful that they made Kyoto more than just a city of sightseeing attractions.
They let you take pictures and videos, but they also have a dedicated photographer/videographer, and when I saw this, I expected to have to pay extra to receive these pictures, but much to my delight, these were sent automatically to my email!
At the end, I was even able to talk with the sensei and practice my Japanese, which was extremely rewarding as someone who has spent a lot of time waiting to put my years of diligent ~studying~ (anime watching) to good use.

Amazing experience….must do when in Kyoto. Much different and more worth than just a samurai sword experience. Ninja gives many more fun activities in the session. Amazing hosts too. ❤️
