A really fun and informative day out to the Douro region. Our guide Bruno was fantastic and we enjoyed the time we spent with the others in our group too. We were picked up from our hotel in a new mini bus and then we headed off to our first vinyard. The guide there was amazing too and we got to try 3 wines, olive oil, honey and port. All delicious! Then it was a pleasant lunch and a chance to get to know more about others on the trip, boat tour which was just about the right length given it was a little chilly! Then we went to a second vinyard to try 6 delicious ports a s learn more about their winemaking process. I’ve done a similar tour in Tuscany many years ago but learnt a lot on this trip, and the scenery was fantastic too. All in all a really good trip that we enjoyed a lot!

Bruno was an awesome tour guide! He gave us so much information, made us laugh, and we had the best day of our trip on this tour. The wines were delicious, we learned a lot, and all of the people we met were very nice. Highly recommend! We did the optional boat cruise and it was just ok, agree with other reviewers that it would be better narrated with a history of the area.

We loved our tour through the Douro Valley! Bruno was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The small size of the group was ideal. The van was pristine and set to the perfect temperature. Our visits to the various quintas and small businesses felt quite personalized, due to Bruno’s trusted relationships with the local wine & port-making families. One tip to guests: make sure to check the weather and dress accordingly!

We had quite a mix up at the start of this tour but it was all worked out within 10 minutes. Bruno was so great and informative on this tour. We went to two wineries and both had excellent wine. They explained the whole wine process to us and did not rush us at all. Then Bruno took us to an old schoolhouse for lunch. The young lady made us a delicious lunch! And then we went on a wonderful, peaceful cruise along the river. Beautiful area!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much and we owe it all to Bruno. Perfect day!

Fun, informative, great variety of port and non-port wines plus olive oil, honey etc. Great lunch, and fun company with a small group. 6 people total. Perfect way to explore the Douro Valley in a day.

Despite a slight delay in pick-up due to traffic, our Douro Valley wine tour turned out to be a fantastic outing. The guides were friendly and enthusiastic about all things wine and port. Bonus is I had the chance to meet some cool people along the way. The selection of vineyards was excellent, with the first one offering a diverse range of wines and port. Lunch, a delightful three-course meal, added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this all-day memorable wine-tasting adventure.
One negative: The cruise portion was too crowded and we were the last to board.

I had such an amazing time on this tour, and Bruno is an incredible guide. We stopped at two wineries for tastings, did the river cruise, and had a delicious Portuguese lunch. I had so much fun despite getting motion sick (my own fault for not eating a proper breakfast and not bringing Dramamine!), and even when I got sick I was so well taken care of by Bruno and the rest of the people in my group. It was an unforgettable day, and I’m so glad I went.

It was a nice time. We enjoyed the wineries. It could have been improved in the following ways.
We were stuck in the back seat of the van and couldn’t hear very much. The guide seemed good and friendly but we didn’t get to talk to him much. It would be good to rotate seating. Also we signed up for an English speaking tour but had one person that spoke Portuguese so the guide repeated everything. That couple should have gone on a Portuguese speaking tour.
