This is a perfect tour with young children. Our guide was great and interacted with the children so well. They both (8 and 4) thought it was great, they didn't stop talking about it after, even googling the extra questions they had.
Well worth spending the money

Extraordinary tour led by Lelo, an admitted archeologist and professor of Pompeii history. First, this was a child-focused tour, so Lelo centered all of his attention on our 8-year old. He kept our kid’s attention the entirety of the three-hour excursion. Not only that, but other Pompeii guests stopped to listen to his descriptions and stories. He is full of knowledge and vigor. Secondly, he took charge. Our tour fell on a day that the site was free to the public, so it was a bit more crowded than usual in late April. On several occasions, he assisted us in navigating past the queues, using his relationship with the site security staff to access the must-see locations. We appreciated his candor and humor. His tour is totally worth the price.

Guide was knowledgeable, but did not connect well with my son's personality. He found it a bit much.

Our guide was FANTASTIC! Our son is a big history buff, and she kept him engaged the whole time. She is a high school teacher as well, so she was great at encouraging our son to share his knowledge and then adding info on top of what he already knew. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful tour through the ancient city of Pompei. Loretta, our guide, was so friendly and full of history about Pompei. We learned so much from her. She made the history come alive for my son and me. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. It was worth it! I’m so glad we booked a guide to help us get the most of our time in Pompei. Highly recommend Loretta! 5 stars!!

Our tour guide had our daughters engaged from the very first moment we met at the meeting point. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They listened so intently the whole tour. And even though my husband and I had been to Pompei before, we also learned new things.

The tour was fantastic! We managed to skip a HUGE line and our guide was fantastic. From our 7 year old, to our 3 teenagers, to my 70 year old mother in law, everyone had a wonderful time. The tour was informative and fun.

This was last minute addition to our time in Italy and was by far my favorite. The guide was so good at keeping everyone engaged. From the 6 yr old to the 67 yr old. She was so knowledgeable and make it fun for everyone. I highly recommend this tour. I wish we had more time to explore but we booked a train back to Rome. It is the only place I’d want to go back to.

The absolute BEST TOUR my family has had! Loretta has a passion for Pompeii and her ability to keep my girls engaged was incredible. We all learned so much and felt as if we were learning from family. Thank you Loretta! 💞💞
