We had the express pass unlimited 2-park hopper, which is far superior to Disney, which is like planning a military campaign. However, it doesn't always help when a lot of the popular rides are continually out of service. I fell like I should get a partial refund for the tickets. My sister and I waited TWO HOURS in line for the Hagrid line and it broke down when we were about forty people away from riding. We were not offered a special fast pass, and were never able to get into it during our stay. Bothe the Hagrid and the VelociCoaster did not honor the express passes, so I never got on that one, either. The Rip Ride Rockit was closed because THEY DEORATE IT FOR CHRISTMAS AND JUST RUN THE CARS AROUND EMPTY. Really? I would also like to point out that they should improve the lighting on the stairs to the Mummy ride. I missed the top step before the landing and went down hard. You shouldn't need to have your phone on flashlight to get up the stairs! There was some good things: The other Harry Potter rides were all great. The Simpsons ride is hilarious! The Hogwarts Express is a cool way to get from park to park. The Mythos Restaurant in Island of Adventure was great. Its going to sound weird from and adult, but the Suess trolley train was nice, because you get a great view of the park. Getting up to the rides is a workout. All of the thrill rides have tons of steps. They do have a swap-out station for parents with kids too small to ride. I would like to crab about parents who come with stroller-age kids. WHY? It's not like they'll remember the visit and they were always parking the strollers in front of garbage cans, bathrooms, etc. Stay home until the kids are older!

We are local and have done all the Florida parks on annual passes throughout the years. My son made 51 inches so Universal's turn. Most everything is a screen which sure, they are Universal Studios, but my daughter was getting bored. She would ask what the next ride was and I would say "It's a simulator ride". Or even worse, it's the same simulator ride (Kong/FnF, Spiderman/Transformers). So Universal Studios is a very short day for us. As for IOA, Hagrid's was great, Velocicoaster I would rank 3 behind Iron Gwazi and Mako. Hulk was fun. Rapids ride is stupid, bring a full change of everything or plan to return to hotel afterwards. I never cared for the ones that just dump waterfalls on your end, lazy to me in the design. No fun if you will be the victim of wet or remain mostly dry. Other rides were not really memorable. Volcano Bay the water coaster is way overrated. We have been on several and this was by far the tamest. I asked my kids if they wanted to tap in before lunch and they did not want to bother. The drop slide was fun and super tall. The fast river was confusing. It would be great for one minute, then they seem to turn everything off where you had to walk to get anywhere. Finally, we did the Loews double up and had the express passes. This was so mismanaged. Sometimes you would go right on, and others the express line was actually longer than standby. ET in particular the express line was so long, they could not clear the line from the preshow area to the ride. They need to teach ride ops to monitor this and move the express as needed to make it worth the cost. They also need to at least offer a one time ride (like the Busch parks) for Hagrids and Velocicoater. Given the poor line management, it is unlikely I will waste more money on express passes over the next year. Staff was nice, no issues there. Food was typical theme park quality. Once our annual passes are up, my son will be 54" and we will return to the Busch Parks until Epic Universe opens at least, unless of course it is just more of the same endless sea of screen rides...

Multiple times when we were on line, the rides stopped working and there is no indication how long it will be until the ride starts up again. On some rides, you are required to leave your cellphones in lockers or with non-riding guests in your party, so you can't even manage your wait times on the phone. I feel like most of my day was spent with my head in my phone looking at the app to see if we could avoid the long lines. Twice we purposely walked over to a ride because the app said it was a low wait and when we got their the ride was closed for technical difficulties so it was hard to trust the app and go anywhere else in the park. We were told by guest relations at the end of the day when we complained that the rides have more technical difficulties sometimes on a cold day when it was warm the day before. Also went on a Wednesday when the park was closed an hour earlier for a tech company's corporate event and they cancelled the park nighttime events like the light projection on Hogwart's castle with no warning or notice. We had park to park passes thinking we would take the train to Island of Adventure when Universal closed and the Express pass lane was an hour and the non-express was 2 hours! The other park would have been closed by the time we got over. Again, no warning how long the wait would have been or we would have gone earlier. Because it was during the Horror Nights, and there was no walkable short cut between the parks so we had to walk all the way around through the front entrance. Unfortunately the tickets were paid for through a third party discount service that offered no partial discounts/refunds. The park tried to compensate with fast passes for the next time we visit, but I am not looking forward to going back anytime soon due to the price of the tickets for how long the lines were and how many times the rides broke down.

Universal … I was so looking forward to visiting but I found it to be a very stressful experience of my holiday and couldn’t wait to leave. First off, disability assistance really does not work / doesn’t exist, I’m not sure in what instances they give it to people but I don’t believe it is many, maybe just children they award to and not adults 🤷‍♀️. Having diabetes & stage 4 bone & lung cancer doesn’t count it seems, I can’t stand for long periods have pains and numbness in legs when on feet too long and pains in other parts due to illness and medication and I have never used a wheelchair before as what was suggested I take by universal member ( 2 occasions I tried for AAP). I am trying to still do as much as I can without resorting to a wheelchair or aid of similar, I probably would have caused a few incidents with bumping people in the crowds also. Absolutely No crowd control whatsoever, it’s as many people to gain as much money as possible. I think a plot to get people to purchase lightning / fast passes, pretty despicable TBH. I don’t believe they monitor the numbers of people that they allow in to park as the time I visited during the days (daughters wanted to visit here because of roller coasters / hagrids etc), I so wanted to have the Harry Potter experience there and obviously most people do but oh my lord, the amount of people in Diagon Alley was … I can’t even tell you how frightening it was ( imagine in a wheelchair) with the amount of people in this area, also under the heat, I literally was bumping shoulders with people and dodging, queue’s EVERYWHERE, couldn’t go in to shops soo busy, huge Queues for eating places, being Diabetic and I’m quite a resourceful person and despite medical issues I am good at forging on but thought that if I didn’t eat soon who knows what would happen the family were in IOA for the rides and I was on my own looking to enjoy a visit to Diagon alley… I couldn’t get out quick enough, I even got confused to where the exit was due to amount of people dodging, all in all a truly horrible experience. Fire hazard?!? Any such instance would be an uncontrollable stampede of people. Went to IOA on another day as girls wanted to take me there to go on hagrids ride, almost 2 hours wait, got to our turn and it broke down WTH 🤦‍♀️ so this is where the AAP would have been great & come in to play, I could have sat somewhere had the access to be given to me of a return time except I wasted near 2 tiring hours waiting for … a breakdown ( I do understand these things do happen) & we almost missed our dinner reservation at Big Fire for daughters birthday. HHN paid a lot of money for this ticket we thought it was well done but not what we had been expecting (much more scares expected) from what we read it was supposed to be very frightening… it wasn’t. I did take time out to have a quick visit to Diagon Alley as I suspected it would be quieter which it was and it was lovely at night with a more manageable amount of people. But by doing this I missed out on time to visit more horror houses, I visited 6 I think, not that scary and queue way to long for each house so much so when filing through house you saw the person in front of you jumping at something so you knew what was coming. Not well organised at all & really not scary and for expensive tickets. So many things I have missed out in relation to my poor experience but I will stop there. I wish when exiting the park I had taken the survey with the park member instead of letting my daughters do it as I would have highlighted the extremely bad experience myself & Husband experienced that they didn’t. Suffice to say “been there done that” and never again unless they address important issues. Huge Suggestion to Universal to urgently address the following: - crowd control / max capacity applied - Disability Access / AAP ( more accessible) Take a leaf out of the Disney WOW, disability and park booking as they do it extremely well with DAS pass and not as strict who they offer this to. They were fantastic and helped me a lot, I don’t go on roller coasters but I will go on some thrill rides and simulator rides, I’m happy to sit at times and shop and go on some rides and take in surroundings as what a lot of parents possibly do but can’t even do that without stress. Plus I have to say & I also feel bad to say this but Disney Cast are much more pleasurable, obliging and humorous making jokes many times. Could not wait to go back to Disney parks away from Universal. Final note ( if Universal actually read this post to end) it is in relation to 💵, My daughters preferred the rollercoasters at Universal but guess who pays for their whole holiday including tickets to parks, yep the bank of mum and dad!! Your surveys may not have an accurate picture if you target teenagers therefore you probably won’t fix these issues. Dates visited were actually between 4th Oct - 16th Oct 22

After doing a Caribbean cruise we did 2 days at Disney and 2 at Universal Disney was a overcrowded joke but Universal was great We found the 3D rides better than Disney and with the express passes could almost always get on rides right away The only problem is the 2 Day/2park with Express pass is pricey, $1250 USD for 2 Adults

We have been to Universal Studios numerous times. Each time the experience goes downhill. The park theming is amazing, and the parks are very clean. The issue I have is that the parks continue to get more and more crowded. Unless you pay a fortune for the express pass, you will spend time waiting in long lines. The other issue is that a lot of rides are always down or delayed. I can't tell you how many times we were in line and then we hear over the speaker "we're sorry for an expected delay and there is no estimated return time". That being after waiting 30 minutes. Without paying for the express pass, we got 1-hour early entry for staying at a Universal Park. We decided to rope drop, so to speak, and got in line 15 minutes before the hour early entry. When the gates opened, and we got through we ran to the ride, Hagrid's Motorbike adventure, the wait was already 150 minutes. How is that even possible?? The park isn't even open for non-resort guests. This trip is making me think about not coming back to this place for a long time.

Absolutely horrible communications, crowds, and what I can only assume are corporate policies. First, you can’t rely on the app for updates. We were even told be a staff member that they don’t use the app for updates. There are also lies/miscommunication about delays. “A brief delay” can mean over an hour and you won’t be able to make an informed choice about whether to wait because of the constant miscommunication. Second, the crowds and lines are like nothing I’ve seen and I’ve been at multiple Disney parks on sold out days. There are massive lines for everything, ride, foods, drinks. You will literally spend hours of your day just waiting in line. Third, many of the staff have very poor customer service skills. There are some exceptions and some are amazing (like Micah in Islands if Adventure). But, you can hear others gossiping about guests and complaining about their jobs. Universal says this isn’t their policy, but it’s so prevalent that I question that. I wrote that this was one of the worst vacation. It would have been the absolute worst except my husband and were almost murdered (and he was shot) on a trip to Belize. So, the bar for worst trip is set very high. Although universal was terrible, we haven’t been shot at yet so that’s something I guess. An update, they now want to charge us $6 for overtime on a locker because we were stuck in their line for 2 hours!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

We did both theme parks on 11/11/22. Two of the attractions broke down while we were on them. The last attraction we rode “fast and furious” broke down as the park was closing. We were stuck on the ride for about 30 mins. Fast passes where handed out at the end of the ride but we had already purchased express passes and the park was closed. Express lane times are about half the time of a normal wait time. Many of the main attractions closed for hours because rain was predicted. It only sprinkled for about 15mins (no thunder or lightning in the area)but rides were closed for several hours.I would skip the photo packages because it takes considerable time at the end of each ride to have them added to your card. It is not like Disney where the tickets are tagged to your smart band. Also take a small Fanny pack or book back so it will fit in the free lockers. Many rides you can not take any items on with you. If you have a larger bag it will cost you$2 per ride to store your bag. Fun place with great coasters. Operationally it could be ran better.

Univer studios Orlando is fun don’t get me wrong. But their so called “superstar shuttle service” didn’t arrive superstar fast in fact me and my mom were waiting for the “superstar shuttle service” for so long that I thought I was gonna be 90 years old by the time the bus arrives. But don’t get me wrong I had a fun time at universal studios it’s way better than Walt Disney world. But I’d recommend not using their “superstar shuttle service” because of how long it takes for it to come to the airport. Because of this I hope brightline trains builds it’s extension to universal studios soon because brightline knows the meaning of being on time unlike buses. So to universal studios ur airport shuttles suck I hope brightline replaces it soon
