1. Val d'Orcia
Take a Tuscany tour from Rome and see the best of the captivating Val d’Orcia region, near Siena. Board your luxury coach, and travel from Rome to Tuscany with its scenic, rolling hills.
2. Montepulciano
Your first stop is Montepulciano, a town renowned for its fine wine and views. The Renaissance hilltown is best-known for its production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a full-bodied red wine. Learn about it on a walking tour and discover highlights such as the Florence-style clock tower, the cathedral with its yet-to-be-finished façade, medieval wine cellars and the old town walls.
3. Tempio di San Biagio
Immerse yourself in the architecture of St. Biagio's Church. This temple is the result of an exceptional synthesis between the artistic language of the Renaissance and the beauty of the Tuscan landscape, due to its peculiar location in the midst of a breath-taking landscape overlooking the Tuscan hills. The church, an example of a Renaissance Greek cross central plan, was used for the original design by Bramante and Michelangelo for St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Having worked up an appetite, you'll have lunch with your group surrounded by vineyards. 4. Historic Centre of the City of Pienza

The layout of the town was created by Pope Pius II, who wanted to change the look of his birth town. Admire the historic center, which stays true to the pope’s vision, and gaze at the fine architecture that abounds. If you are a fan of food, check the shops for pecorino cheese, arguably Pienza’s most prized product.
5. Pienza
Explore Pienza and shop for local food and wines, take photographs and eat gelato. Next, return to Rome in air-conditioned comfort — fulfilled, relaxed, and ready for the next day.

We had Paula from City Wonders as our guide. She was magnificent! She explained everything in detail what to expect and was very helpful throughout the tour. Her interaction with everyone was really great during our travels.The whole experience was very good.

Our guide, Enriqua and driver Julio were polite, informative and pleasant. The guide kept us informed thru out the entire tour. My wife had a bit of a medical problem and the guide was helpful and quick to point out alternatives so we could continue to enjoy the tour. She is an absolute asset to the company. AWESOME!!!

Enrica and Jullio were fabulous! 50 percent funny and 50 percent serious. The guides were full of information and were easy to hear thanks to radio earbud. Great views of the Italian country side. Warm and welcoming hosts for the lunch. We would love to do this again on our next visit.

Awesome day trip to Tuscany! First of all I have to thank our tour guide, Claudia, who was funny, knowledgeable, and understanding. She made sure that we were all having a great trip. This trip far exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anybody! Everything from our tour guide, Claudia, to the bus driver, Antonio, to the beautiful landscape of Tuscany, to the food, the wine and even the bathroom breaks everything was very organized, relaxed, fun and outstanding. 5 stars to Claudia!

What an amazing, beautiful tour of Tuscany. What made it amazing was our tour guide Marínela. We absolutely love her. She met everybody informed throughout the tour, kept checking on everybody. She was knowledgeable, funny, caring. There were older folks who she kept motivated throughout walk. She asked about food allergies, and even got the farm to make my food without cheese and other people too hot different stuff. Can’t say enough good things about her. Best tour guide I have ever had. The driver was amazing too-can’t remember his name.

The tour guide was a very funny Greek lady.i forgot her name. There was beautiful countryside and much history that I get to learn. The lunch was Supreme.

Our guide, Claudia, was AMAZING! She made the tour so enjoyable with her humor and extensive knowledge. The 3 course lunch was MUCH more than we ever expected! The family was very gracious and the food was awesome. It was all local food which the owners explained thoroughly and the wine was exceptional, I want to go back but would have to take Claudia with us!

Claudia our tour guide was full of knowledge and information about the region, history, local tips for us and could communicate in multilingual so everyone could understand. She had a great sense of humor and got on a personal level with each client. We stopped at the cutest shop that offered sweets, truffle, sauces, meats and cheese, espresso and wine. Our lunch was served at a winery -Pulcino with wines, olive oil and balsamic made on site. They offered all in their shop and had free shipping! We stopped at one more town and wandered the streets and shops before heading back to Rome. A long day but so flavorful and fun!
