Beautiful views, engaged guide and stunning setting. But a lot of driving, waiting for and other guests talking over guide, with rushed and limited time in both Grand Canyon and Sedona.

Quick trip to Phoenix with my wife and mum, and we had a great trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon, thanks in large part to Sam, who was excellent in every way. He’s very knowledgeable, has studied his stuff very well, and is also adept at adapting his material and info to the audience. I felt he was just about funny and entertaining enough, without becoming overbearing.
I realize there’s more to the trip than the guide, but really, they do make or break the experience - atleast it was for us, since this was a very last minute plan with little research done on our own.

Wonderful experience! The seats are comfortable. I enjoyed Oak Creek and Grand Canyon! Our tour guide, Tracy, was very kind and informative. I learned a lot and would truly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Grand Canyon without all the stress of driving there yourself. We also stopped in Oak Creek which was beautiful as well.

Nikki was a wonderful guide on our long trip to the Grand Canyon. She kept us informed and entertained. The views of the Grand Canyon were amazing and the stop in Sedona did make me want to go back sometime.

This was our families first trip to the Grand Canyon, And John was absolutely wonderful. John provided excellent professional service, but also was very informative and engaging.. His knowledge of the area is excellent! And study, you have to be ready for his fun quizzes and trivia!!
We will definitely book with Detours in the future!

We had an amazing day trip to the Grand Canyon & Sedona. The bus was comfortable. The guide was informative and helpful. The size of the group was perfect - not too big & not too small. The views throughout the day were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this trip & would do it again. My only advice is to pack snacks & a lunch (we grabbed food on the road but the options were very limited). Wear comfy shoes!
