So we went there with the sky package which was equally to around £75 each.. where you get the 7 steps, lagoon, ice plunge pool, sauna, -5 ° C mist shower, body scrub (you basically get enough to cover one arm), then the steam room that wasn’t all too bad. I live in Liverpool and saunas, ice plunge pools, and steam rooms are as cheep as £3.50 for as long as you want with better service. I get it’s a good experience in a great location but the price of it is just not worth it. It’s a shame the quality of it doesn’t match the price. It was sad that the blue lagoon was still closed but at least we tried a similar thing.
I get that you go to different places in the world and people are completely different everywhere you go but the people here are so rude and arrogant.

This was an amazing experience! I highly recommend doing the Sky Pass with ritual -so cool! I’m so glad we chose this lagoon to visit while in Iceland. I want to give a shout out to Brandon at the front desk who really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.

If you are planning to try any hot spring place Sky Lagoon is totally worth it. The experience was great. We did the Sky Package for couples. We did not have problems with changing room/shower room and the experience was totally awesome. Plus the fact that you can see the northern lights from the main pool, it was totally worth it.

Amazing trip and this is a must do when in Iceland and Reykjavik. Water was surprisingly hot and the views and whole experience was unreal.

Wonderful experience - arrived just before sunset which was perfect to watch - beautiful sky followed by stars relaxing in the warm water. Recommend taking water/sea shoes as the floor is very rough.
Book before going as very popular ( blue lagoon closed) atm and people were being turned away.

Amazing experience. Our Blue lagoon trip was cancelled so booked this instead off and did not disappointed!
Luxurious 7 step package included in our ticket, sauna was absolutely stunning, the view was to die for - right on top on the sea front through a panoramic glass pane.
We paid for the middle range ticket, I recommend this as the only thing different from the top package was a private changing room which wasn't a huge problem. Separate shower compartments so could still get dried and changed separately if needed.

Out of 6 days and 6 nights in Iceland, this was my family's FAVORITE event! You get SPOILED here! Sadly, we did Secret Lagoon a few days after Sky and my family was very disappointed. The bar is set HIGH at Sky Lagoon! Beautiful setting, private change rooms, swim up bar and so aesthetically pleasing!!!! Do the 7 step ritual, too!

We were somewhat disappointed when our Blue Lagoon reservation was canceled due to the ongoing volcano, but I booked Sky Lagoon as our back up if it was indeed canceled. It was so beyond our expectation! It was an intimate and secluded experience with amazing facilities. The views were breath taking and the 7 step ritual was an experience we will never forget.

Can’t compare to Blue Lagoon but can compare to my hopes and Sky Lagoon was everything we wanted. Easy to get to, we bought transport from Reykjavik with our entrance ticket. We went late afternoon and while it got a little busier over the several hours we stayed, it never felt too crowded. The seven step ritual allows you to go at your own pace so you can stay longer or shorter in the areas you like. I appreciated that the cold lunge was always available. We paid extra for the private lockers but I can imagine skipping this if I were on a tighter budget as the whole facility seemed quite nice. We had a gorgeous day and feeling the ocean air was great. Water can be warmer or cooler as you walk around so you can really adjust your experience. It is an outdoor experience for optimal visit so extremely foul weather wouldn’t be as great. Just know that if you are traveling in winter. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a luxe experience without the crowds of Blue Lagoon. Next time I’ll bring my own dry bag for my iPhone so I can take pictures. They sell/rent them there but I underestimated how photogenic it would be.
