Moved through the process quickly with Skip the Line. It is well worth the cost. Great views at sunset when we went. Be sure to catch the fountain show after descending from the top.

Maybe the time I reserved was not good (2 p.m.), but it was crowded and not a great experience. With the "At the Top Sky Ticket", we did skip the longer lines, but there was still a bit of wait at each stage. First, you line up to exchange your online reservation into real tickets and a "VIP" sticker. Then, you line up to go on the elevator. They pack the elevator with as many people as possible. If you are claustrophobic, I suggest avoiding this activity, as the elevator has no windows. Once you get to the 125th floor, you change elevators to go up to the 148th floor. It is a bit less crowded on the 148th floor. But all the sofa seats are occupied, so you have to wait your turn to sit down and have coffee/cookies. After hanging out there for a bit, you can go down to the 124/125th floors, where it is even more crowded. The view is generally awesome, especially on a clear day. Most of the "photo spots" require you to wait a bit. Given that Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, I cannot tell anyone not to do this activity, but my overall experience was not pleasant and probably not worth the money.

It was a great tour. The tour operator helped find the quick way to the top. Waiting times were low and acceptable.
On the other hand it was apparent that the whole tour was not standardised as much as you might expect from a tour that is repeated several times a day or week. Like in many things in this country, there was an element of improvisation. Really not a big issue on a simple tour like this but our family got separated into two groups taking two different elevators several minutes apart without apparent reason other than lack of prearrangements. Hospitality at the observatory level was professional. The start time was also subject to unexplained uncertainty. We bought a voucher for 5 pm which was changed for a ticket to 6 pm, then we eventually started at 5:40.

Skip the line really works. We barely checked in at the designated time, yet joined the group timely and at multiple levels including the descend, could skip the lines. Probably saved us an hour or more that way. We didn't have to wait at any levels or lines. Otherwise, the structure itself is a marvel and the views are great.

Get the ticket! Worth the money! I skipped over 100s of people that were in line, and the guards help direct you straight to the top into a beautiful lounge with the most Amazing view. This ticket also provides a chauffer pickup from your hotel to the Dubai mall, but after that you have to find the entrance by your self. if you are not familar with the Dubai mall then it may be confusing, but they have board signs all over the place so eventually you will find it.

Skip the Line Burj Khalifa tour was worth the extra money. Thanks for making it so easy. No lines was exactly the case. Everyone was super nice and the views were amazing. We had 1700 ticket time and that was perfect for watching a beautiful sunset on January 1.

The skip the line ticket is worth every penny as it saves you so much time when visiting. Yes, you still have some short waits but it is nothing compared to a regular admission ticket. The views from 148 were amazing.
