We had Mat as our guide in Versailles Palace and Garden. We are a family of 4 and with my recently fractured foot I was glad that Mat had arranged 2 golf carts for us (each golf cart can only take 4 people so our guide drove one and my husband drove the other) to tour the huge Versailles garden. After the garden we went in to see the Palace. Overall the tour was fun and Mat was friendly and knowledgeable, would have suggested that the tour should be at least 30 minutes longer as there was not enough time to spend inside the Palace .

Yichen our private tour guide was excellent. It was so nice to have someone just talking to our family and taking us to parts of the garden off the beaten path. We had a great 10 and 8 year old and our guide wS patient with their questions.

We had a great tour guide, Meng. She was knowledgeable, funny, and very accommodating. She took care of everything. During the golf cart tour she saw that my mom had trouble walking and suggested that a wheelchair might be helpful for the inside tour. Then she arranged for it, versus us having to ask. Overall it was a great tour.

Claire (from LivTours) was absolutely fabulous guide! Our best guided tour in Paris !!! She was witty and humorous; able to explain the rich history of the Versailles Palace to us. The tour in garden was throughly enjoyable! Highly recommended guide!

There is no one more knowledgeable on tours than LivTours and their guides. The tour was perfect and they did a great job immersing us in history and keeping it interesting for those that love history and those that history wasnt their best topic in high school. We enjoyed seeing the gardens and inside the castle. The castle was very overcrowded, and the guide kept telling us "in the summer the gardens are better" over and over. It was sad the statues are covered by coverings in the fall/winter, but it was still beautiful.

The tour started out well with Eva taking us on a golfcart ride through the gardens. Despite the wind and rainy weather, we were able to enjoy the hidden gems. The tour soured upon our entering the palace. We felt rushed through the venue and didn't see everything. In the end we were hustled out through a back door and taken to a restaurant for the restrooms. Definitely not worth the price we paid, especially since we arranged our own transportation to and from Paris.
