What an incredible experience!! Igor was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had for our multi-generational family of eight. He was patient, funny, helped us navigate complicated lines and we always felt safe. The sights were amazing and breathtaking - a must do when you are in Rio! Thank you, Igor — from American who don’t like guns. :-)

The car was old and squeaked. AC worked. Driver was polite.
We were able to design our own tour/sites to see.
They came about half hour late, said it was the traffic. It states in the description that this is a 9 hr tour, includes 1 hr lunch. But they were ready to drop us back at 5 pm. We started around 930. So 7 and a half hrs. The guide was mediocre at best. It was helpful to have a guide at Christ the redeemer as we cut all the lines, otherwise we would have done just as well with Ubers and saved a bunch of money.

I cannot speak highly enough of Michael as our guide, and Felipe as our driver. The thoughtfulness was so appreciated. His knowledge is superior. We chose our own itinerary and it worked perfectly because of his ability to accommodate our wishes. His English was fabulous and his love of this country was evident. People who choose this tour and get Michael and Felipe will not be disappointed!

We could not have asked for a better tour guide or a better driver than Michael and Felipe. We wanted a rather custom.tour, and he was able to exactly accommodate what we desired. Michael was very kind and solicitous of my injured ankle and of our tour companion that became ill on the trip. He was a treasure trove of knowledge, and you can sense how deeply he loves his area of this beautiful country. I wish that we could have him as our tour guide for the remaining ports that we have in Brazil. I recommend the pair without reservation.!

This tour was AMAZING! It was completely customizable and perfect for our family. We were traveling with a baby and our tour guide Beth was so helpful! She treated our baby like if he was her own. We were able to see so much even though we had to move at a slower pace. Beth is WONDERFUL! She is so knowledgeable about Brazil’s history and landmarks. Our driver Romullo was also great. His van was very spacious and came equipped with a car seat. This tour is 100% worth every penny. We felt safe the whole time and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Rio. We can’t wait to come back!

All of them. Igor was knowledgeable, energetic fun. We did especially enjoy the Brazilian steakhouse we went to for lunch! All attractions were great and he kept our ride close, so no waiting! Cheers Igor! Thank you for making us fall in love with your beautiful country!

Michael gave us an extraordinary glimpse of the historical and cultural landscape of Rio de Janeiro! We explored the Cristo Redentor, Pan de Azúcar y Escalera Selaron, alongside the Maracaña Stadium and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Michael was a very knowledgeable tour guide describing the different areas of Rio like the different beaches and other significant buildings from the birds-eye-view of the Cristo and Pan de Azúcar. Michael was also able to share interesting facts about Rio like where the oldest ‘Favela’ is located and why people can’t swim at the Botafogo beach. We also had a great lunch at an exceptional Brazilian Stake house recommended by the guide. Overall, Michael was a very equipped tour guide whom was able to give us an overview of what Rio has to offer, he was patient, charismatic, and a great photographer. The tour also includes a very comfortable van that takes you to places and picks you up in no time. I would give it a 10/10!
