The best way to get to know a place within the city is by visiting it with true local people, during our tour we will be interacting with them. As this is a completely private tour, we can adjust to the needs that are often required.

Keep in mind that due to the museum occupancy, the Frida Kahlo museum is the last point to touch.

I mistakenly signed up for a private tour and boy am I glad I did. Patto or Patricia Blake was fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Because it was private, she tailored our tour based on our likes and whims. We first drove out to the floating market and on the way, we were briefed on history of Mexico. The tour of the floating market was leisurely and because it was just us, we were able to stop at certain special spots to hang out. After two hours there which went by soooo quickly, we went to cocoyan. We like art so Patto took us to an art fair and found us some great ice cream. And again she briefed us on history and architecture. We then went to the Freda museum. That museum is overrated in my opinion but it was something we wanted to do. On out way home, Patto stopped at yet another art shop just for us. Really it was a fantastic day and worth every penny. Ask for Patto. She was great!

Good trip with a great guide! Jaime took us around Coyoacan and Xochimilco. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Frida Kahlo Museum (our fault because we booked the tour too late and all the tickets were sold out way in advance) but got to visit the Anahuacalli Museum where we saw Diego Rivera's private collection of pre-Spanish artifacts. Everything was great - Coyoacan was an interesting historic town, we took a relaxing and beautiful boat ride in Xochimilco and the Anahuacalli Museum was impressive. Jaime was a great guide - knowledgable, patient, and accommodating. He even took us to this local tostada food shop where we munched on delicious snacks after a long day. The tour ended late, but he never rushed us. I'd definitely ask for him.

Walking around Coyoacan was lovely and Xochimilco was fun. Paco, our guide, was really personable and kind and easy-going but did not really function as a guide at all. He drove us to places and went with us on the boat (and did share a bit about the history of the canals) but did not go into the Anacualli museum at all and just gave us a few suggestions before we were on our own in Coyoacán. This might be because his English was limited but it was just not what we expected. Again, he was a really nice and interesting guy; it’s just that we expected much more for the price we paid.

First, I would like to say that Patricia was GREAT! Very fun, very knowledgeable, went out of her way to ask us what we might like to see and do, she even chased down an ice cream vendor truck when she told us it was the best in town!

We started with a drive to Xochimilco, where Patricia told us what we needed to do to avoid some of the traps. We then took a leisurely float down the river on the colorful boat and a cerveza and some snacks, including tortilla chips with homemade guacamole and some grasshoppers!

We then wandered around Coyoacan, where she explained the history of the area. She took us to a market and showed us some nooks and crannies that we might have missed if she had not them pointed them out.

Ended with the Frida Kahlo museum, where she left us to do a self guided tour at our own pace.

A great host and guide to spend a good chunk of the day seeing and experiencing just some of what Mexico City has to offer.

We had a great time riding the boat, exploring Coyacan and visiting the Frida Kahlo museum with Didier. Before the trip, communication was always prompt and precise. The day of the tour he was waiting in the hotel lobby for us and we were on our way to the boat tour in no time. Didier and his driver had thought of every detail and throughout the day made sure that new information about us was incorporated (i mentioned i liked sweets, so we stopped at the oldest granita store in Coyacan, my wife likes to try strange food, so we went to a local market and had a choclolate covered scorpion and mezcal flambéed grass hoppers in a quesadilla). Didier also made late lunch / early dinner reservations at a great restaurant for us that was at the home of a famous Mexican architect! we both had a great time and can only recommend this tour!

Leon was the best. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more accommodating guide. Knowledgeable, personable and good humored - a credit to your company and to the profession.
