The helicopter tour was amazing! Our pilot Tommy was excellent and fun. He took plenty of pictures beforehand and did a great job of pointing out areas we flew over. Highly recommend!!

I booked this for my boyfriends 30th birthday and we had an amazing time. I was a little worried, with the sudden return of the Canadian wild fire smoke, that it would ruin the tour but it didn't. There was limited visibility to/from downtown but once we were downtown, we could still see everything clearly.
Take off is from the Schaumburg Regional Airport. Parking is feew and there were clear signs to passengers waiting area. Went through some quick rules and then hit the tarmac for a short walk to the helicopter.
As far as attire goes, I would not recommend wearing heals (was my original plan since we were going out to dinner after). It's a bit of a "climb" in (I'm 5' 1") but managable; however, for any elderly person this may be difficult. The backseat area is small so if you're claustrophobic this will probably be a problem but the from passenger seat is much more spacious and has more visibility. There is no AC but there are small windows that you can open on both sides. There are noise canceling headphones with a mic so you can still communicate with eachother.
Our pilot was Chuck was great. Nice, friendly guy. Took some nice pictures of us standing outside the helicopter before the flight. Take off and landing was smooth to my surprise (compared to planes - this was my first time on a helicopter).
Would I do it again? Absolutely.

We took off at least 40 min before they time slot I paid for also the noise cancellation was dead so I couldn’t really enjoy it because it was so loud I couldn’t talk to my wife or point out things I seen because the headphones was dead so we couldn’t communicate…it just felt very rushed

the pilot tommy was so cool, friendly, personal and gave us world class customer service. it’s not everyday we do something like this it may be everyday he flies, but i can’t thank him enough for being so nice to me and my 7 year old daughter the whole time. felt like family
