This is an excellent tour for people with limited time. Special thanks to our amazing tour guide Ismael who made our day more than we expected. With his helpful tips we managed to visit spectacular bookshop Livraria Lello in Porto. We managed to find best wine stores and he also stop in Fatima & Nazare on our way. If you have any chance save some time for Nazare which is a magnificient place. Thank you for the great day:)

Our tour to Porto was excellent. Our driver made the day very enjoyable and accomodating. We were taken to all the points of interest in Porto, but also our guide would stop whenever we showed interest in anything along the way! Made a full day very enjoyable.

I was expecting an informative tour as has always been our experience with Viator. Our driver was super at negotiating traffic but was transparent about not being knowledgeable about the sites or sharing historical information. He was clear that he would take us any where we wanted, but having never been there, we had no clue. We knew where to meet him at the end of our independent meanderings (sometimes lost). No porto cave experience had been arranged nor were any port vaults available last minute. We did see interesting sights on our own after being dropped off. He made suggestions such as visiting the book store and took us to the train station (very cool) and the Chapel of Lost Souls for pictures of the tiles (really amazing). We always take Viator tours if possible, but this was not comparable to the other tours we have had here or other countries as there was no knowledgeable tour guide to accompany us nor someone to walk us around. We were pretty much on our own. Could have taken a train and planned our own trip with more background.

A fantastic day to Porto. Our driver Rui was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an excellent overview of Portuguese history and the relationship of Porto to their history.
Very comfortable car and we were able to see the major sites.
A great trip when you only have a day from Lisbon.

Mario (our tour guide & driver) was excellent & super professional on the day of our trip from Lisbon to Porto. He already had the best itinerary planned out for us. We informed him on the morning of our tour that we booked a boat ride at 11am and he ensured that we arrived on time and picked us up afterwards in a punctual manner. He took us to all the great places in Porto like the Harry Potter library (unfortunately we couldn’t book tickets to go inside), the train station, the best viewpoint of Porto for photos, the Porto Cathedral and many other points of interests that covers the entire Porto sightseeing checklist. Mario was the most efficient and professional tour guide (and driver) we’ve had during our time in Lisbon. He made an effort to even make a lunch reservation for my parents and booked a legitimate tour of the wine cellar for them. Mario looked after me and my parents (who were in their 60s & 70s) with incredible kindness & consideration. As a tour guide, he’s efficient, patient and level-headed. I’ll definitely request him to be my tour guide again if I have anything to do in Portugal in the future. Thank you for everything and keep up the great work!
