After check-in board the vessel, grab a coffee or tea, a Danish pastry, fresh fruit & settle in. After just over an hour we arrive at our first Great Barrier Reef destination - the beautiful "Wonder Wall " on the outer edge of Upolu reef. Snorkel, SCUBA (extra) this stunning reef site teaming with fish and marine life. Experience an informative complimentary Glass Bottom Boat & Adventure Drift Snorkel tour with our very attentive guides. After a morning of activities enjoy a large scrumptious lunch as we cruise to Upolu Cay. Snorkel this "coral garden" tropical oasis - look out for turtles & sting rays! When conditions allow you can even land on this glistening white coral Cay! Enjoy six hours of snorkelling, relaxing between these 2 uniquely different reef sites. After a magical day we return to Cairns serving fresh fruit, cheese and crackers and cake arriving back in Cairns by around 4.15 pm . 2. Great Barrier Reef
Our Marine Guides will enthrall you on a reef and marine life discovery on an a highly informative and engaging Adventure Snorkel Tour and Glass Bottom Boat Tour at our two unique Upolu Reef sites - "Wonder Wall" on the Outer Edge Upolu Reef and our "Aquarium" coral garden reef site amongst the beautiful shallow, azure coloured waters of Upolu Cay Reef. These sites are in Marine Park highly protected zones where no fishing is allowed, hence the abundance of fish and marine life. Come and find your favourite Hollywood Nemo character! With 6 hrs of actual un-rushed reef time you have plenty of time to do both complimentary activities and continue exploring yourself under the guidance of our attentive crew!

Ocean Freedom travels to two Great Barrier Reef sites - "Wonder Wall" on the Outer Edge of Upolu reef (a truly magnificent snorkel and dive site) and Upolu Cay Reef - a beautiful shallow turquoise coral garden site. Upolu Cay site is truly magnificent - picture a coral garden reef with lots of colourful reef fish darting in and out of the staghorn coral as you snorkel in these crystal clear shallow waters surrounding Upolu Cay. Look out for turtles popping to the surface for a breath of air, stingrays eagerly scouring the bottom for food. Sometimes you can stand thigh deep on the Cay in the middle of the ocean, other days we can land on this glistening white beautiful coral cay - each day a little mystery of nature but always we have the stunning turquoise waters to snorkel in and around this magnificent Great Barrier Reef area. Make sure you have your camera ready for this truly picturesque site!

Was the best day. We saw heaps of coral, fish and turtles. The crew were doing small groups naming the fish explaining the reef. One crew member came to my kids and were happy to show them where Nemo was. The crew were absolutely fantastic. Good was great. Pastry’s as we arrived, great lunch with prawns, chicken, cold meats and salads. Then on the ride home fruit, cheese and cake. Drinks to buy and snacks to buy for good prices. All in all absolutely fabulous day.

It was nice going snorkeling in the great barrier reef. Team was nice, unfortunately the rest was average.

Big minus, they didn’t have a seat for every passenger, having people sit on the floor.
Food was okay, imagined a little more from their description.

Snorkeling was at two spots, pretty close to each other and looked the same, so over all trip was okay.

The whole trip was fabulous and all of my family felt that they were given special attention. Charlotte who did the marvellous food was always smiling and so helpful, Blair did the introduction for safety so well, Molly who did the snorkeling instructions so well with Ruth and Lucy supporting me so well during my first attempts. The food was brilliant throughout the trip and plenty of it. Nothing was rushed and the time spent snorkeling and diving was perfect in length of time and support. The captain was always supporting his crew so everyone got maximum out of the trip. An absolutely fantastic day. Thank you

Great experience, 10/10 for the crew, everyone was friendly and happy to help.
Food was ok but lots of options, snacks, cakes, good selection of drinks to buy.

One thing to do is take your own GoPro, as we did it take it expecting photographer onboard, our fault, if not you will End up with zero photos.

This was the best snorkel experience I’ve ever had. I also did a beginner dive and was totally blown away by the quality of the staff and the location. The boat was great, the food was yummy, and the weather was perfect. 10/10 would do again

Super friendly staff! The trip was very enjoyable, even for the members of our group who were not strong swimmers. We snorkeled and were able to see clownfish, sea turtles, and so much more. The lunch and snacks were fantastic. Would recommend this trip to anyone!

Great experience! The tour stops at two locations for snorkeling. The second one is great. We saw a jellyfish and stingray. Many tropical yellow and blue fishes swimming around.

The staff are great. About 10 crew members take care about 30 people. The snorkeling instruction is clear. They have prescription goggles so I don’t have to wear a contacts but still can see the fishes.

We were a little sea sick at the beginning. They have pills for sell. The kitchen lady brought us the ice cubes and kept checking on us. The lunch and snacks they provided were fresh and good quality. Drinks and sodas can be bought with $.

We had done snorkeling in Mexico and Hawaii. This tour so far is the best.

Nice intro to the reef. Whole family out snorkelling. Did see a lot in spite of some reduced vision after the flooding. Nice crew working hard. Nice food.

Great day out with Skipper Mike and his enthusiastic crew. We were in a group of a dozen, so very exclusive and personal service. Everything taken care of so for all ages and all levels of competence from first-time snorkelling to scuba diving, and all equipment supplied from fins to floatation vests to mask and snorkel to Lycra suits. Their bit of reef off Green Island is full of interesting corals, teeming with fish from minute to small sharks. Wide selection of buffet lunch, teas coffees and drinks: thank you, Mike&Co for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience!
