We did the Dessert Tour with an amazing tour guide. However, our 2nd trip to the North of Qatar was disappointing
1. The tour should have been longer than 4 hr because the places are far from each other
2. Jumail Village was a waste of time. Zubara fort and Purple Island is a wonderful place to explore
3. Choose your tourist guide that have higher rating. Fun and professional guide does make a difference

A great trip to see the Zubara Fort in the North of Qatar. Nasser is a great driver for the trip. The mangrove area in the middle of the area was also very interesting. It is about one hour drive from Doha to the Fort so please take into account when planning this trip

We enjoyed our trip to Al Zubarah Fort. Great driver/tour guide, Ali, who was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable, willing to stop and let you see things and take pictures. The Fort itself is of course a recreation based upon the foundations, not original, but lovely for photos and ambience. It contains a museum with good information on the place.

This was a great half day trip to get out of Doha. Noor, our guide was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. His English was good, and he had a keen sense of humour. If you want to see more of Qatar, I highly recommend this interesting tour. Thanks, Noor, for an enjoyable trip.
