1. Montana de Montserrat
The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.
2. Abadia de Montserrat
Visit the Basilica of Montserrat, house of the serene image of the Virgin of Montserrat, the patron saint of Catalonia, a poly chrome Romanesque carving dating from the 12th century. The legend says that in the year 880 some shepherd boys found a statue of the black madonna, the "Moreneta", in a grotto. A chapel was built on this site that soon became a place of pilgrimage.

Decide with your small group of 8 pax if you want to enjoy a ride in the rack railway that will bring you at the top of the holy mountain. Enjoy astonishing views along the way.
4. Sant Jeroni
Reach the peak of the holy mountain to enjoy a bird's eye view of the entire Montserrat Monastery and of the natural park. On clear days, you will enjoy uninterrupted views of the whole of Catalunya.
5. Aeri de Montserrat
If you skipped the funicular, you can enjoy the cable car, a breathtaking journey over the Llobregat River and Valley, up the mountain and right up to Montserrat Monastery. The cable car first started running in 1930. It travels at a speed of 5 metres per second and at a gradient of up to 45%. This is a trip that is not for the faint heart - you will be travelling 1350 metres up the mountain in a small hanging car! However, if you are not afraid of heights, you will be in for a really memorable and rewarding experience.
6. Montserrat Museum
If you wish, you can also decide to visit the Montserrat museum. It has an important section of early paintings, spanning the 13th to the 18th centuries, with works by El Greco, Caravaggio as well as a large collection of Catalan paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries that includes major names such as Fortuny, Rusiñol, Casas, Picasso and Dalí but also of French impressionism such as Chagall, Braque, Le Corbusier, Miró, Dalí and Picasso.

The guide was very pleasant, but did not explain as much as hoped. Also, it was a very, very short guided part and then you walked around for 15 minutes and then we left. Very disappointing. Not worth the money or time.

Javi is a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable and patient. Always willing to go in depth with explaining the sights from the geological and historical points. He gave us time and space when we needed to take photos and enjoy the sight seeing. Highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Our half day tour to Montserrat was a very personalized one. Our tour guide, Joan, did an excellent job in providing comprehensive information in such a short time, addressing our questions and accommodating our individual needs during the tour. I would definitely recommend him for this tour.

This is a MUST-DO tour! The sights and experience of this place are incredible--all make particularly enjoyable with our guide, Miquel--so thoughtful, knowledgeable, caring of each person, a rare guide. Every aspect of the time there was top-notch, surely because we were with Miquel, who clearly loves what he does, and does it well, including driving winding approaches up the mountain. Thank you, Miquel!

Went on a semi-private tour to Montserrat with our tour guide/driver Javi. He was a very jolly person and gave interesting facts on our way to Montserrat. He was also very accommodating to all of us in the van.

Javi was very patient with us especially that we were late in some of his time requirements.

It was a good and chill tour with Javi.
