We were so happy we combined the Basilica and the Palace as their history is of course intertwined.

This was a wonderful way to learn about the Doge's Palace and St. Marks Basilica. Our guide, Emmanuello, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the sites, location and Venice itself. Emmanuello had extensive knowledge of the history of the the area, buildings, government, art, etc. Moreover, he gave some terrific insight into other local restaurants and helped me arranged a water taxi for the the next morning at 4 am! Highly recommended!

Our guide was terrific, funny, specific, always watching the group to make certain he was keeping all engaged. Our complaint was with the tour company. St. Mark's Basilica was closed for a holiday, so we did not have access. Now....... this was a major holiday so the company knew what's open and what's closed. Many people on the tour stated they would have come another day. The tour company did NOT offer a tour on an alternate date, nor a refund. We did get to tour the Doge Palace and our guide was great, as mentioned above.

Our tour guide, Francesca, was amazing. We learned so much about San Marco and the Doges palace, but even more about Venice’s history, down to the soil and lack of natural resources, and its future. Absolutely recommend!

Despite the crowd, it was easy to spot the guide. The audio device worked well, and Alessandro was a walking history book. Overall, this was an excellent intro to the two highlights of Venice.

Amazing beautiful palace, we went on a rainy day so it was busier than usual but still pleasant to get around and see the amazing art and architecture. Took so many ohotos of beautiful paintings and celing art
