Ziplining
The course takes you into a steep canyon where you will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a hanging bridge, rappel, and a tarzan swing! (rappel & swing optional)
Horseback Riding - 45-minute ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of the volcano
River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers.
Lunch includes a salad bar, many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated

So well done and organized. The jam packed day of activities happened seamlessly and all staff were fantastic. From your personal tour guide to the activity specific experts at the zip lining course, horseback riding, and tubing-everyone was so friendly, helpful, and made the experience unforgettable. The sit down lunch was some of the best food we ate while there and staff was extremely hospitable.
I have already recommended this excursion day to multiple people. Spend the money on the day, and splurge on the photo package. It’s worth it. Also- bring cash to tip the crews: they work so hard and you will have no shortage of memories from the day.

It was an amazing experience. The zip lines, tubbing, the horse ride and the hot springs were fantastic. Also, the typical food was delicious. This is an experience for relaxed people that like nature and adventure activities

The zip lining:
It was definitely fun, but it felt like each zip line was far too short and didn’t have much of a drop. We didn’t catch much speed but overall it was fun.
The Horseback riding:
It was okay. I enjoyed it however I wanted to go faster than I was able to. It was very slow and in a controlled environment, of course with kids around safety was a top priority.
The tubing:
By far the best part of the trip. Definitely a highlight. We flew down rapids through mountain rivers and had tons of laughs. We even saw a white faced capuchin monkey.
The lunch:
Buffet style food with traditional Costa Rican rice, beans, meat, and fruit. It was good but not great. I highly recommend the tamarindo Juice, it was the highlight of this lunch. All you can eat so it’s worth quite a bit
Hot springs: we opted out of this as we’ve been to plenty, and had somewhere to be.
Overall:
Honestly, even with the zip lining being short/fast paced, the horse back riding being slow, and the food being a solid 7/10, the tubing made up for everything. By far this is 100% worth the money you paid. I’d say it’s a solid 4/5 experience overall but I have to give it 5/5 because the value of what you get for what you pay is amazing.

This tour was absolutely amazing, definitely worth the money. The activities were so much fun and none of them were boring at all. I wish we had more time for some of the activities to be honest but it doesn’t take away from the experience nonetheless. The food was great and Kevin Piña (our tour guide) was very kind. I really recommend this tour!

I have to say that coming from an English speaking country with very limited Spanish, this tour was translating all day to make it so easy. We started with zip line and it was beautiful. Going through the forest and canyons was a blast. Some platforms were small for how many people where waiting to go next however they were so quick to keep us moving along. After we went to the horses. These beauties were tame and easy for anyone to ride. The horses know what they are doing so you really just sit and let them walk. Third was river rafting and as much as I love horses this was THE best adventure of the day. So much fun that I wanted to do that all day. Lunch was a buffet at the restaurant in the park. Quick and easy. (I’m not a foodie so it filled my void) lastly we went to the hot springs which was a perfect end to our day. I did not mud myself as I was too exhausted to leave the hot spring pool.

Amazing day overall! One good thing to know is that if you take the group bus, they will stop at a breakfast place (which you need to pay for) on the way to the adventure park which was great bc of the early pickup!
Zip lining was a thrill. It’s very fast paced and they get you from line to line quickly cause there are lots of other people with you. You zip through skinny canyons over a river as well as forest areas.
Horse riding was pretty mellow but I was grateful for that because we both don’t really know how to ride. They stop half way and let you swim under a waterfall!
River rafting was a personal favorite- it was crazy in a good way, and the guides make you feel so safe even on the wilder parts. You float for a solid hour !
The lunch was delicious, and the hot springs at the end are a fun bonus although pretty short.
I highly recommend opting in for the photo package which was $50 for 2 of us. I thought it sounded corny at first but they take such amazing pics and we didn’t want to bring our phones so it really was worth it.
Another heads up, this is really more like a 12-13 hour day with all the traveling and we got stuck in some bad traffic on the way home. Overall a really special and unique experience!!

This ATV experience is definitely the best I’ve been on. Reynolds and Jeaustin were fantastic guides. They made sure my kids were very familiar and comfortable riding the ATVs before tour. The beaches were amazing and they allowed us some time to enjoy food and drinks there, and swim a little. They definitely knew a lot about the area, and me and my kids had a great time, and they all rated that experience as the best they had in Costa Rica. We’re definitely going back there when we return next time. Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great experience in Costa Rica.

We spent a fun, full-day at Guachipelin. We started with the horse ride, then went tubing, followed by lunch. After lunch, we ziplined through the river canyon and then went to the Oropendula Waterfall and ended the day at the hot springs. We would definitely do the tubing, ziplining, and Oropendula Waterfall again, but found the horseback riding to be a little unscenic. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't much to it, frankly. The hot springs were packed with people (there were three decent sized buses in the parking lot, plus individual cars) and so weren't very relaxing. The personnel were VERY professional and safety oriented. The lunch was a good buffet with chicken or beef mains and several options for sides. Overall, we'd recommend and would return if back in Costa Rica.

Our trip to the Guachipelin Adventure Park was a great experience and incredible value to be able to take in tubing, zip lining, and horseback riding all in one day at the same location. Would highly recommend if looking for an excursion that makes the most of your time in Costa Rica!
