The coral and fish aren’t as good as other other islands in QLD. The island is tiny and only took 25 mins to walk around and it’s rocky with jellyfish everywhere. The boardwalk paths further in from the beach are tidy but there’s not much to see.
There’s not many chairs/umbrellas in the pool area and the ground was really hot so we couldn’t relax there. To be honest, we did the half day and we were waiting for 1.5 hours to get back to the boat.

Having the snorkelling equipment & glass bottom boat included in the ticket was awesome. Great amount of time on the island too!

Wait to get snorkling equip for 20m
10:30 glass boat tour
11:00 island start snork immediatley
Swim with shark and trutles
1:00 go to see Crock and watch feeding show
At 1:30 and looking around museum takes photo takes 30m
2:00 go to pool and swim 20m after then

A must see!
If you are only interested in snorkeling to see the reef/ corals yourself then you can take any other tour. However, this was a fantastic tour for my family as we got to spend good amount of time in the Green Island. We could go for the glass bottom tour and we did snorkeling ourselves. So we got everything: if you have time then I do recommend you go for a night stay in Green Island and then take tours from there too for the snorkeling and helicopter tours. We couldn’t get the sea walking tour as it was full but I am assuming you can do that too there.

On Saturday i was very fortunate to go out to green island for the daily activities with great adventures on the island was fantastic all staff on the boat over and back were great very helpful and happy the guys doing the ramp to exit the boat welcomed all visitors the team and staff on the island were second to none especially david one of the managers on the island who was very informative on back of house operations a lot of work and care go into operations on the island highly recommended trip will not disappoint absolutely perfect thank you great adventures team

Swimming with a turtle was about the best part. Fitzroy Island is better and less expensive.
The glass bottom boat tour was very good, however I went to snorkel the coral and in the area given saw very little.

The crew on the glass bottom boat were excellent and the views they shared were equally as good. Afterwards we had a very nice lunch and then we snorkeled the reef for some great vies and pictures. Everything went as scheduled and we couldn't ask for anything better.

Glass bottom boat was great,very warm,saw turtles ,lots of different fish ,it was a bit rushed as we had a bit of snorkelling and then had to rush to do the boat
