Amazing trip! Very smooth pick up at one stop brought to another a little crazy but completely fine just go with it. The views are the most beautiful I have ever seen. Out guide Rosetta was excellent very informative and funny! The stops were just enough to get great shots and see amazing areas of Iceland. I would say the experience in the winter was my favorite I can't imagine in the summer but the snowy mountains made the trip for us. Highly recommend this trip!

Lack of communication from grey line made us miss the tour and they refused to issue a refund. We sent several messages to the operator about changing pickup places because we picked one far away. They never responded. The tour said 8 so we walked to the far location for 745. We never got an info about pickups. Every other tour we took said time to be outside and you may be waiting a half hour etc. this one gave no direction. When I called that we were not picked up greyline rep said that’s happening a lot and we missed bud by 5 min. I said we didn’t get an email and she said maybe it went into spam. I told her no one responded on the contact operator communication and she told me they were too busy for that. They refuse to give back our $365. Greyline should be ashamed of this way of doing business.

Golden Circle impressed us a lot. We saw the gejzir in live for the first time in our lifes and it was amazing. Water and ice on Gullfos was magic, peacefully and loud in same time. Our tourist guide provided us very interesting information and driver was a hero on the ice roads.

I would recommend this tour overall for anyone who is short on time, new to iceland, and doesn’t want to drive the roads in the winter! It was great to spend time at the sites. The organization of the tour was great and the guide was kind and thorough. However, I have to remove one star. I booked the 8AM tour, and because daylight hours are limited, the first site (the national park) was literally not visible when we arrived there. It was impossible to see a single thing, and there was ice everywhere making it hard to get around. I ended up going back to the bus early because of this and felt quite disappointed with this. I think it needs to be more transparent when booking that the first site will be in the dark given the 11AM sunrise. I think there is a tour later in the day by an hour or so, which would make a lot more sense to do - and also mean that all three sites would be during daylight hours, and only the drive out of and back to Reykjavík would be in the dark.

We really enjoyed the Golden Circle tour and would definitely recommend it to see some treasures of Iceland. Our guide was very informative and passionate about Iceland and we learned a lot throughout the bus journey. The trip however was very rushed with limited time at each of the 3 sights and we wish we had longer at a couple of them. We understand with the limited daylight hours in Iceland at this time of year they are on a tight schedule, we just would have liked longer to explore further and really take in the wonders of Iceland.

We had a super nice and knowledgeable guide who gave us great insights. The tour was beautiful even if we had little time left for the waterfall as the sun was setting.

Great trip to the key sights of the Golden Circle but let down by bad organisation. Things to note, one bus picks up a lot of people for transfer to other buses. Really busy so standing room only before being dumped at the bus depot and told the buses are leaving in 5 minutes only to find multiple buses for similar trips and queuing to find out which one your on. None or not enough booster seats/child seats so we had to do a detour to get some. Our one didn’t have a seat belt that worked and no more seats so inspite of being told it was compulsory we were then told it’s ok to hold the baby in your arms.
Your guide and driver all good, but delays means some rushed visits to some of the sights. Overall a good day slightly spoilt by bad organisation.
