Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. The catamaran ride was super fun. It was a rainy day and the swells were high so it felt like a smooth carnival ride. I loved the crew - very friendly. I loved the snorkling - plenty of beautiful fish and they provided wet suits for a very small price which helped with the cold. The food and drinks were awesome. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the turtles due to weather but if we had this much fun on a cloudy, rainy, day just think how awesome it would be on a sunny one. Highly recommend this trip. Well worth the money.

The boat is set up amazingly. The crew was awesome to. Didn't get to see any turtles but that isn't their fault. Highly recommend it.

The staff was wonderful. Snorkeling at Molokini was magical. The food was really good and they encouraged us to eat as much as we wanted. Great hosts!

We went as a family of 7 adults and 3 children. Children ages 4 months, and 2 two year old boys. We were able to take turns snorkeling with the kids. The boys loved watching the fish thru the bottom boat viewing area and they also very shortly rode the floating Zayak with a see though bottom.
There were not a lot of different types of fish to see at Molokini, but there were some turtles to see at turtle town. The food was perfect. The pulled pork was delicious and the cookies at the end was perfect. We got ro see a momma whale and her baby on the way back in. The boat captain was very clear with improvement instructions about safety for the trip.
Russ, a crew member made sure we were having a good time. This is our second excursion with him. What a nice guy!! They also had a photographer that was very interactive with the guest. He even took pictures out in the water. The pictures were available for pictures.
Plenty of crew members to help out.
Highly recommended.

The boat ride and snorkling were a blast for our family. We loved the slides and jumping off the platform. My husband jumped off the platform and lost the Go Pro that was snapped to his chest. A member of the crew got into the water to try and retrieve it. Even though he was unable to find it, we appreciated he was willing to look. Everyone had an amazing time!

Ship crew super awesome and welcoming. Breakfast is okay and lunch was great. Pasta salad and pork sandwich (with the option of ham or turkey if wanted). Snorkeling at molokini crater was much better than turtle town. If you want to see more turtles swimming go to black rock beach.
