Tour was wonderful. Time spent at the winery was the best. Douro Valley is beautiful. It was a lot cooler in the valley than Porto- my suggestion would be to dress extra warm on a coolish day.

This was a lovely full day spent in the Duoro River Valley, highly recommend this tour. We went in late September of 2023 and it was not too hot & slightly rainy. We got to visit Quinta de Santa Julia and try some of their wines and olive oil. All of our tour guides were so much fun ! After lunch, tasting and a tour of the winery, we headed into town to Touriga; which was a lovely wine shop/bar in Peso da Regua. If I could say anything its that it is a very full day and you spend a lot of time in the van, so be prepared for that. Our driver was great though. Milena, our guide for the day, was very knowledge and lots of fun ! The rain didn't stop us from having a wonderful day exploring a beautiful place <3

It was a pleasure to be with him during the day
He picked us up from the hotel , right on time
His driving was exceptional & safe
He had a very good rapport with the personal at the Winery & Port sampling
Our meal was good & we had a friendly day with all - but our guide Ivil made our day experience in Portugal

Ivo was knowlegeable and friendly. The timings during the tour were spot on ....giving us time to enjoy the scenery snd opportunities to learn without being rushed. Being in a small group was great and I've ensured we stayed on track and answered every question. I had a great day. Thank you for putting it together.

This is a very beautiful river valley in late autumn. The wines are enjoyable, truly remarkable. The tour guide, Igor, is a very knowledgeable person, he connected with all the travelers in a genuine and warm way. The bus driver, Pedro, also shared his know how and happy spirit with most of us. The boat trip, under de guidance of Oscar, was very magical and relaxing, a really whole anti-stress treatment. Both the people from Kopke and Santa Julia wineries were very thorough, and job devoted.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We were placed in an eight people group so the whole trip felt like a private tour.
Our tour guy Ivo from CM tour was wonderful and attentive to our needs. He was on time waiting for us during pick up. He is from the Duoro Valley region so he was knowledgeable about the area and various subjects to fulfill our curious minds.

What a great trip with experienced tour guides!!! Pedro and Pedro knew the history of the region and the Douro Valley. They were super prompt and friendly. The tour itself was worth the experience to get outside of Porto and experience a wine tasting to learn a bit about the Port wine experience. There was no expectation of purchasing anything at the wineries and it was overall a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking to try more than just the immediate city.
