The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We learn a lot on how Port wine is done. And the two. Quintas where we stop were nice and offer a great choice of wines.

We had an amazing day with Monica, our tour guide, and our new friends from Scotland and New York! We loved visiting the quaint Quinta Santa Eufemia were we enjoyed tastings of wine and port paired with orange cake and snacks. The views of the Duoro Valley were breathtaking on the boat tour as well as along the route. Lunch at Vista D’ouro was very tasty and relaxing giving our group a chance to learn about each other. Quinto do Portal was very interesting, demonstrating how a larger scale Quinta has combined architectural design and natural surroundings to make wine and Port. Monica was truly excellent! She was fun, engaging and a great driver! We would highly recommend this tour.

The whole day was memorable. 90 minute drive to first location, private tasting for group, photo stops, amazing views from the boat, nice lunch up the hill in an old school house, 2nd winery, then home. Great dat

Disappointing that such an expensive tour had little to offer on the way to the wineries - no commentary on where we were while driving or interesting information. The first winery was very good, lunch was fine, second winery was rushed and busy. The boat tour had limited commentary. Such an interesting area deserves better.

Excellent tour with Paulo, our tour guide. Paulo was punctual with pick up time and communicated what the day would entail. The wineries were excellent choices, with great wines and snacks. Each winery provided history of the family running the winery, and general info on how the wine is produced. The cruise was also excellent. Boat was very clean and the cruise was enjoyable in this beautiful area. The Douro valley is stunning!

Pick up/drop off good. Lunch at school house tasty. Guide was disappointing- provided no commentary of area/wine etc. First stop definitely better than second winery- seemed like they weren’t expecting us?? After lunch guide started driving way too fast, by the time we were on highway back to Porto he was driving so aggressively I felt unsafe.

Our guide Luis was outstanding. Exceptional knowledge of the areas, very pleasant and informative. Excellent driver, on some challenging roads. We learned so much. Would highly recommend taking this tour with Luis.

Nice day to Douro Valley. A shame it was raining on and off. Views were amazing! Learned a lot about the wine making process and sipped wonderful wines. Nice touch that they provided small snacks. Tour guide was a great driver and knowledgeable.

Antonio is a great guide. We visited two wineries. The first one was a long time family property that had wonderful history. The second a more modern bigger operation. Lunch by the river was great.
