Welcome to the "Magical Wine Land"! Enjoy an experience of authenticity in the Douro Wine Region, with paired tastings of DOC wines, regional cuisine and the breathtaking landscapes of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

All this without rushing, always at your own pace, in a private all-inclusive tour.

This is an All-Inclusive Private Tour, "private" meaning a van and tour-guide exclusively at your service, "all inclusive" meaning that it's conducted in your chosen language and with all the inclusions mentioned, from the moment of pick-up until your return to the hotel at the end of the day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Quinta Seara d'Ordens
One of the Douro's charms is, of course, its centenary "Quintas" (wine Estates). We will visit a family-owned ancient one, and while we do so, we'll enjoy a Premium Wine tasting of DOC Douro Wines, Port Wines of all kinds and also a pairing of local products, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Douro Valley. This will be the starting point for the discovery of the Douro region at its fullest.
2. The Douro Valley
Sit down, fasten your seat belt and prepare your camera... we are about to start the journey along the iconic N222 road, considered to be the best panoramic road in the world, that will take us to the next moment of this private experience in the Douro Valley.

We will sail through the waters of this iconic river, on a relaxing boat trip that will take you from the banks painted with vineyards to the schist cliffs, from shades of green to shades of scarlet, always surrounded by the landscapes of this unique region, World Heritage Site.
4. Provesende
“Cooking is at once child's play and adult joy. And cooking done with care is an act of love.” - Craig Claiborne And an act of love it is, this intimate Eno-gastronomic experience in a scenario surrounded by vineyards and branches, in a village of the typical old Douro. We'll have a true Wine lunch where every element of the meal is paired with different DOC Douro wines, from the appetizers to the café in the end. After this splendid meal, you will be able to walk calmly through the streets among the locals and the tiny houses that compose the vicinity.
5. Sabrosa
The day will culminate with a relaxing Chill & Wine moment, including typical products paired with a refreshing cocktail or Old Port wine tasting, where the authenticity and the quality of its products will be served at the table in an intimate and personal atmosphere, always with the Douro Valley and its landscapes as a background.

Fabulous tour in the Douro Valley, splendid landscapes, meetings with people full of authenticity, very good meals and beautiful wine tastings. Our guide Sofia was absolutely perfect, attentive to our needs, very enthusiastic and knew how to convey to us the love of her country and her city Porto. We definitely recommend this tour!

Tiago was an excellent guide. He was friendly, fun and was very knowledgeable about the Duoro Valley. He also gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Porto. Lunch was a fantastic experience in a quaint little village and we also loved the wine tasting experience. Fantastic trip that I highly recommend!

Even though it was raining non-stop for most of the day, we had a great time on this tour, in large part due to our great guide Tiago. He answered every one of our many questions, answered more we didn't know we had, and was fun and pleasant the whole time. He also did a great job taking care of one of the members of our party when they slipped and got a minor cut - definitely not part of the job description, but much appreciated.
The stops were great, especially lunch

The entire day was outstanding despite the dreary weather. Paulo our guide was great - friendly, funny, informative and kind. Highlight of the tour was definitely lunch! We were treated like royalty indeed. Well worth the time and money.

From start to finish this well structured tour was an excellent introduction to the beautiful Douro valley. Our guide/driver, Joao, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. There wasn’t a part of the day that failed to impress - the stunning scenery, the wine tasting “breakfast” at the Quinta Seara d’Ordens vineyard, the boat trip along the Douro and the delicious traditional Portuguese lunch (with more wine!) in a quiet hillside village. Joao went out of his way to ensure that we got the most out of our day, adding in a visit to the picturesque town of Amarante on the way back to Porto.
I would highly recommend this tour!

A perfect day despite rain. Alex could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Very knowledgeable. Tasting was terrific. Lovely surrounds and boat tour was beautiful. Thank you.

We had a wonderful day with Andre. He worked so hard to make sure every moment of our day was enjoyable. He was at our hotel promptly making sure our seating and environment were comfortable. While driving to the Douro valley, Andre educated us about the region and why it’s a spectacular wine producer. We stopped for wine/port tastings as well as lunch at a lovely authentic restaurant run by a remarkable woman and her family/friends. Andre checked in frequently to assess how we enjoyed every activity we did. He secured outdoor seating for us on the river cruise (which was very crowded when we arrived), we greatly appreciated his efforts. When traveling, the connections and memories we make are invaluable to my husband and myself. We are grateful for our day in the Douro valley with Andre. Thank you!

Andrea was a wonderful tour guide. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the Douro Valley, the lunch and the river cruise. She was very personable and knowledgeable. It was worth the expense to not worry about wine tasting and driving. Beautiful part of Portugal
