Pre-trip, I was contacted again by Mr Shuttle stating I needed to rebook or lose spaces, I was unable to contact Mr Shuttle directly but this turned out to be from hacker although Mr Shuttle did not confirmed this straight away and after I had provided my payment info.
Pick up time was 45 mins earlier than advertised. This was not communicated until day before trip. Driver only spoke to tell us what time to be back at the bus, his driving was very fast, at one point almost hitting a child half way across a pedestrian crossing. Auschwitz was well organised. Good guide however she did stay at the front of the group and didn’t monitor those taking pictures where they shouldn’t have been taken. Learnt a lot glad to have a headset as I was always at the back of the group. Quickly transported to Birkenau, same guide but no headsets this time, this was a great shame. The walk through the camp was fast paced, again the guide stayed at the front and started her info talk when she stopped, rather than waiting for all in the group to catch up. The camp itself was heartbreaking but I’m pleased that I went. Not suitable for people in wheelchairs or mobility issues I would say as lots of walking, steps and uneven ground.
Lunch was nice, however we had to eat this in the carpark at Birkenau.
Quick dangerous drive to the salt mines. It would have been better to have eaten lunch here in the nice park. We had a 15 min break before grouping up to go in. This time the bus driver was late. Our guide was great, he was funny, but again this was fast paced and definitely not suitable for disabled or people with mobility issues as over 800 steps down. Beautiful carvings in the mines and lots of facts given. Drive back to hotel was again very fast. Bus driver did not drop us outside our hotel so we had a little walk to get back there. Would definitely recommend a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau and the Salt mines but it was too much to do in one day. I also wouldn’t use Mr Shuttle again for fear of getting the same driver. But do visit these places especially Auschwitz and Birkenau, we all need to learn from the past.

Cracking day out the guide was knoledgable on the Aushwitz tour, and was definitely a harrowing experience.
Onto the salt mines, wow unbelievable absolutely huge the church at the bottom with all the carvings was breathtaking.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes as you can clock up over 20k steps

Salt mines were fabulous.
Walking in the footsteps of Auschwitz prisoners, hearing the horrors they suffered, and seeing their belongings was emotive and humbling.

Very atmospheric places in the rain. However because of the huge numbers visiting we got detached from our group and the guide did not know we had to find our own way back @nd we missed the Kanada exhibits which were the ones we wanted to see.
Driver etc good. Not much time to grab a coffee or lunch.

The salt mines was amazing couldn’t believe we were that deep underground, like a city down there, the church’s were great to see.

2 excellent tour guides : good arrangements on pick up and transport to locations: bus could do with more leg room - I’m not 6ft - but could not fit comfortably.

The transportation was very well done, mini bus driver kept us updated at all times, packed lunch was very nice. The tour guide was excellent and added lots of history and anecdotes to the entire experience, did not feel we were rushed at all and was happy to answer all our questions.

The tour was awesome and very well organised.
Considering it's such a long day Mr Shuttle made it easy for us to stick with the routine; which included a great boxed lunch for us to maximize touring time.
Our driver was excellent as were our guides through the three venues.

Door to door pick up by Mr Shuttle for the whole day, comfy minibus, friendly, clear timescales given, able to leave possessions on the bus too.
Tour guides super informative, really gave an insight into how life was.
Salt mine tour also excellent, again Mr Shuttle gave clear instructions for timings, guided us to where to wait, really well looked after.
Picnic lunch was delicious and plenty of food, included in the price.
Fantastic experience.
