Leon provided an exceptional day’s tour. He was so knowledgeable and informative that we felt we gained an in-depth knowledge of the history of SA. He also ensured that we visited all the locations we requested but tailored the trip to our specific requirements. We particularly enjoyed seeing the penguins and feeding an Ostrich! We would highly recommend requesting Leon as your tour guide if he is available. Thank you for an unforgettable day around the Table Mountain national park and Cape Point.

We did a great private tour with Charleston. He promptly picked us up in the morning. Our first stop was at Bo-Kaap and then made our way along the costal areas. We did a few stops at the scenic costal overlook and then made our way to Boulder Beach and the Cape of Good Hope. The beach was not crowded at all, which was great. Charleston gave us enough time at all spots and we did not seemed rushed. I would highly recommend this private tour

My wife and I had a lovely day with our guide Pedro driving down to the cape of good hope. Pedro made the trip, he was extremely knowledgeable about all things South Africa and we had wonderful dialogue the entire drive. The southwestern most tip, lighthouse and penguins were the highlights of our trip and because we got back to Cape Town slightly early, Pedro drove us around the city center to help us get our sense of direction for the rest of our tril!

This tour was by far the best decision of our Cape Town activites. It is a MUST since you will get to see the most important landmarks of the city. Best to do this tour on your first days in the city because after it you'll know your way around a lot easier. Our tour guide was Wilson, and it would not have been the same without him. He was GREAT and we had an amazing time. He was always willing to help out, took great pictures (and we like pictures a lot), and even suggested for us to visit additional places not in the schedule. We were picked up from the hotel, and headed out to Table Mountain. It was great that the tour guide suggested to start at 8:30 am, since we only had like a 3 minute queue for the Cable Car. Highly recommended to do it this way! When we went down, the line was 10x longer. At the top, Wilson explained all of the city landmarks and it was great to hear him out and see the whole city from the highest point there is. After this, we headed to Simon Town, while passing through Champan's Road. This is the most beautiful road I've ever been through. Definitely be ready to take some amazing pictures. We saw the penguin colony in Boulder's Beach, and took some great pictures. Wilson explained the penguin behaviour and we had lots of fun watching these amazing animals. After this, we had lunch at Simon's Town (Harbourview Restaurant). This was definitely the best Fish & Chips and Fried Calamari I've ever had. The local tap beer was also amazing. After a great lunch, we finished with the crown jewel, Cape of Good Hope. You enter the part and visit Cape of Good Hope for the famous picture spot on the lowest point of southwest Africa. Wilson was great explaining the Portuguese expeditions of Bartholomew Diaz and Vasco de Gama, and how they were the first to discover the capes. We took great pictures and then visited Cape Point, where we rode the funicular to the top and saw the lighthouse (and took other great pictures). You can see False Bay from the top and the views are breathtaking. Definitely prepare your cameras and bring comfortable clothing because there is TONS of wind. Also don't forget comfortable shoes for the small climb at the top (but it isn't hard). After this, we headed back to Cape Town and stopped for a quick picture at Bo-Kaap (colored houses). It is a nice place for pictures and walking around. After this we were dropped back at our hotel. Wilson was AMAZING and we definitely recommend this great tour for anyone visiting Cape Town for the first time. We now feel like locals with his great explanations and he made us feel welcomed to the city. Do not hesitate to book! =) Thank you Wilson, we will definitely be back someday. Cheers!
