We had the utmost best time on this tour. Our tour guide Angela Miletello was attentive to every detail of our trip. From the moment we got on the bus, she gave us an outline of the day, and some of the history around the Amalfi Coast. The tour itself was amazing with some of the best seafood I have eaten. There was ample time for shopping and site seeing. I would recommend this trip (and tour guide).

I booked this tour while visiting Rome! I didnt have much time so I wanted to do a day trip there! Angela was the guide and she was amazing! Very knowledgable, animated and kept us entertained with history and facts dueing our ride there and back. She made some great suggestions for lunch at Rada and a hidden beach in Positano that was less crowded! Highly recommend!

We had visited Positano briefly a number of years ago when staying in Sorrento and were keen to go back and also see Amalfi. The tour was quite well organized - an early start but a long way to travel from Rome and obviously a very long day. The guide was quite good and informative and ensured that participants were on time to meet the departure schedules for the three ferry cruises. I enjoyed seeing this spectacular coastline from the sea. While it would have been nice to have a little longer at each stop, obviously that is not possible given the distance we had to travel and the time constraints.
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our day trip to the Amalfi Coast.

This tour was a great way to see Positano and the Amalfi Coast in one day, without having to make the long drive on our own. Our tour guide, Roberto, was very informative and enthusiastic for the entire trip. Our bus driver, Edwin was an excellent driver. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a very long day trip (7:00 AM until 10:00 PM) but well worth it if you want to experience the Amafi Coast in just one day!!! Be ready to take a three hour bus ride there and another 3 hour ride back, including one bathroom break half way. But again, it’s WELL WORTH IT for the experience if you have limited time. Our tour guide Rob was amazing!!!! He really took the time to explain things and made sure we understood the itinerary every step of the way. Bravo Rob, thanks for a great tour experience!

My husband and I took this tour as a pre-cursor of our trip South to Sicily. The short review for those who just want the top-level info was AMAZING!! This tour far exceeded our expectations, and our tour guide Angela made it all the more memorable (for further details, read below). The trip was a full day but a good chunk of time spent between Positano and Amalfi - lots of time for exploration, shopping, and fooding! It was about a 3 hour trip each way with a 15 min break each way for stretching, bathroom break, and grabbing some take away food/cappucino. I would give this tour 5 stars + (the plus being attributed to our guide Angela). High recommendation!
For your detailed explanation, we started the day at the Piazza del Popolo with several other tour groups. Angela did a great job gathering up 50+ people and getting us to the buses (about a 10 min walk) in an on time fashion. The bus trip was about 3 hours total with a 15 min break in a small monastery town. During the bus ride, Angela provided us with details of the day, some history of the location, and was overall very enjoyable to listen to.
We arrived in Solerno to catch our boat to Positano. Angela literally ran to get our boat tickets so we could catch an earlier boat which gave us 30 mins extra in Positano. That really set the stage for the attention to her customers and her commitment to make the day the most it could be. The boat trip was enjoyable, and Angela also made the recommendation of where to sit to get the best views of the trip.
We made it to Positano and had the best ever food at the restaurant Rada Beach Bistro (of note, the father of the owner owns the Chez Black which is equally as good). The pasta was amazing and seafood tasted like it was just caught right before it hit our plates. Positano also has some amazing shopping however, it is a very exclusive resort town and the prices reflect as such.
We then took the boat to Amalfi where we had a chance to do a limoncello tasting which was quite good. The town is also known for its paper and ceramics. There are several shops in the main square with lots of quality products for purchase. The prices were also slightly less than what you would pay for in Positano. On a personal note, there is a family-owned ceramic shop just up the street from the limoncello tasting place where we bought some beautiful serving plates and a couple of vases for very reasonable prices.
Again, we spent about 3 hours at each port before we took the boat back to Solerno to meet our bus for the trip back to Rome. We stopped again for a break half-way back to the city.
Overall, this was one of the best tours we did through Viator. I can't stress enough how much Angela added many personal touches which really made this stand out above other tours we have taken. If there is a way to request her, I would recommend!

Angela was an amazing host and Tiziano was an excellent driver! Angela provided exceptional service with story telling and area information. She was very caring and thought ahead of all our needs. The views of Amalfi Coast was gorgeous and the boat view was stunning. It was a 15 hour day but Angela made the time go by and Tizanio kept us safe. Our bus had a random Polizia check and we passed all safety requirements. Awesome day! Highly recommend!
