WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Vatican City
You will enter the Vatican Museums overflowing with masterpieces by many of Italy’s most important Italian artists. sitting alongside important works from Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. You will walk through famous galleries such as the tapestries and maps ones. You will learn the secrets of The Sistine Chapel, with its enormous Michelangelo’s frescoes. Here you will have time to observe the details of his sublime “Last Judgment”. Your guide will bring you directly from the Sistine Chapel into St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest Church, to admire Michelangelo’s “Pietà” and other highlights

(Not included in the MINI WOW Tour)You will start a driven guided tour with the Trevi Fountain, a secretive masterpiece and perhaps the most spectacular fountain in Rome. This iconic setting attracts many visitors. It was built at the end of one of the famed aqueducts that supplied the Roman Empire with water. Toss a coin into its waters to ensure a safe return to Rome at some stage in the future.
3. Spanish Steps
Not included in the MINI WOW Tour)You will proceed to the Spanish Steps, one of the biggest tourist spots in the city. As you stand and admire the Church of Trinitàdei Monti, which sits at the top of a famous stairwell with the Fontana Della Barcaccia at its foot, you will wonder how they were ever able to complete it.
4. Pantheon
Not included in the MINI WOW Tour)A true masterpiece to admire on your tour of Rome: The Pantheon. Immaculately preserved and seemingly just a few centuries old, it isn't easy to believe that the structure was finished in AD 128 by Emperor Hadrian. In the square in front - a gathering place for locals – discover a decorative 16thcentury fountain sitting beneath the Egyptian obelisk. Your guide will suggest the best time to go back and see the inside of the monument. Kindly NOTE that the line might be too long due to the metal detector and the visit is from outside.
5. Piazza Navona
(Not included in the MINI WOW Tour)No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to Piazza Navona, one of the largest squares in the city. The space is incredibly popular among tourists for one primary reason: Bernini’s “Fountain of the Four Rivers.” Built to represent The Nile, The Ganges, The Danube, and Rio de la Plata, the structure now sits amidst the artists who arrive to peddle their wares daily.
6. Ancient Rome
The driver will pick you up at your hotel and bring you at the Colosseum, where you will meet your guide. After admiring the impeccably preserved Arch of Constantine, you will move onto the Coliseum. The grandest amphitheater in the world will amaze you! You will walk on the footsteps of Roman Emperors through the Roman Forum. Thanks to your guide’s explanations, you will be able to imagine their triumphal processions and public speeches. The Arch of Titus will be the perfect introduction to the panoramic hill of The Palatine. The ancient legend says that Romulus founded Rome on this hill in 753 B.C. Following his actions, the Emperors built here their opulent homes. After this complete Ancient Rome tour, you will fully understand Ancient Roman life.

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• LIMITED MOBILITY Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs, but, for safety reasons, it is not possible to carry wheelchairs and walkers down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, we can still bring you to the Basilica, going back to the Museum's entrance and reaching it from the outside with the car. Although there is a dedicated pathway for wheelchairs, please be aware that there may be a queue to enter the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair.
• VATICAN IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS (and religious holidays). Due to the Wow Tour's high request, we designed a Sunday experience when the Vatican is closed. With your guide, and your driver you will explore St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant' Angelo area and other marvelous sites like the Aventine hill; from its top, you enjoy spectacular views over the city. As an alternative we will prospose other museums or arcaeological sites!
• Option 3 - WOW Tour - 8 hours: This tour has the car at disposal for the whole time. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs.
• STROLLERS: We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chape directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward ). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit. The PREMIUM OPTION with the car at your disposal, helps us organize the Basilica visit. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has stroller paths.
• Option 1 - SHORE EXCURSION FROM ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA) PORT: this option includes pick up and drop off at the dock of your ship. It also includes the car at disposal during the tour. Nevertheless, transfers are scheduled according to entrance time tickets; if you need to anticipate or postpone a transfer, our staff will do their best to meet your needs.
• Option 2 - Mini WOW Tour - 6 hours: It is designed for those who are interested in the Colosseum and Vatican Visit and not in the tour of ther squares which is not included in this option.This tour has no car at diposal while you are inside the Vatican and the Colosseum. Nevertheless it icludes pick-up drop-off and intermediate transfers.

We had a wonderful time with Eddie! Marina promptly picked us up at our hotel in the morning and took us to meet our guide Eddie for a full day of touring the highlights of Rome. Eddie had so much information to share with us and he knew the best spots to go. There was so much to see and learn, we just wish we had more time. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, and we would love to return to Rome one day to continue our explorations.

Absolutely wonderful tour. Our guide and driver were great. Our guide was so knowledgeable with 30 years of experience. She made sure we saw everything we wanted to see (and more), gave us great information at all times and was able to answer any question we had. Great lunch included as well. She also made sure we never waited more than 10 minutes in any lines! I’d highly recommend this tour!

Personal driver was great to get from place to place. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on everything. She was able to get us through lines quickly & knew the fastest routes. Would definitely do it again.

The guide Daniel and are driver Ramon were excellent. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and thorough with his description of the sites. His ability to help us imagine what Rome looked like in the past makes him a one of a kind guide. His past experience match him perfectly to this position.
Ramon was very friendly and knew his way to each site and knew all of the shortcuts to keep us on time.
They make a great team!
Our only suggestion is maybe a earphone/ speaker system. With the crowded areas it was sometimes hard to hear.
Would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see the important sites in a limited time frame.
Would definitely book with this company again. Grazie

The tour was amazing. By far the most convenient way to see the important sites of the city and learn about why they are so important.

Both Andrea's were friendly & professional. I have no idea how our driver was able to navigate the streets so easily, despite being tight & congested, made it through seamlessly and pointed out a few important buildings while we were on our way to pick up our tour guide. Andrea our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and helped us find the most important parts of the Vatican, Coliseum & all sites we stopped at, detailing the background of them superbly.

Lunch was good - the pacing of the tour was great - and Andrea kept us informed at all times of the process for getting in & out of buildings (Skip the Line tickets still require you to pass through security lines and have ID checked for obvious reasons), while taking some great pictures of us as a family, as well as recreating a picture of my wife from her last visit to Rome over 20 years prior. We also received great recommendations for places to eat during the rest of our stay.

Completely worth the price!

This tour was a great way to experience a lot of Rome’s top sites all in a day! The pacing of the tour was well done. We saw so much in a day, but didn’t feel completely spent at the end. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to highlight our interests. It was also very convenient to have Alessia as our own personal driver to get us quickly from site to site. I would highly recommend this tour!

What a way to see Rome in a day! Can't recommend enough! Andrea (Andy) our guide and Andrea our driver gave us an amazing day. Mom is in a wheelchair and they took such wonderful care of her planning around accessibility and we didn't miss a thing. It was priceless for her to see her grandkids discover Rome for the first time and was everything we hoped. Andy also tailored the details and kept 2 teenagers completely entertained. The front of the line access was such a treat and we really missed many of the crowds. So much behind the scenes effort to get us right up close to things and be ready for us as soon as it was time to move. The even squeezed in an amazing gelato stop for us. Such knowledge, kindness, and truly 2 warm and kind fellows. We were spoiled rotten and would do it again in a heartbeat. Wish I had more than 2 thumbs because I'd put them all up :). If you're on the fence - book it!

Robert was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Our driver was fabulous, as well. Everything was well planned, so we didnt need to wait in the long lines. We would definitely do this same all day private tour, again!
