With this tour you will get the chance to explore Taj Mahal and other monuments of Agra in one day. Explore Taj Mahal in one day from Delhi and return back by India's fastest train – Gatimaan Express Train. You will visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Etimad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) and Mehtab Bagh (Sunset Point).

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. New Delhi
Your tour will start with a pick-up from your preferred location in Delhi between 6:30 AM-7 AM. Pick-Up will be done from any hotel in Delhi / NCR or airport in Delhi.

After pick-up from your hotel in Delhi, our drive will drop you to the Nizammuddin Railway Station and help you finding you train coach and make sure you would get seated comfortably. Your train will depart from Agra at 08:00 AM and will arrive in Agra at 09:50 AM.
3. Taj Mahal
At 9:50 AM your train arrives at Agra Railway Station, our guide will meet you outside your train coach holding your name on the sign board. From here you will proceed to visit Taj Mahal, a monument symbol of Love made by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.Rest of the history will be explained by your tour guide. Spend around 3 hours in the monument.
4. Agra Fort
After Taj Mahal you will proceed to visit Agra Fort, which is a red stone massive structure built by Great Mughal Emperor "Akbar". This is one of the UNESCO heritage site in Agra built in 16th century with many palaces inside like Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan e Aam, Pearl Mosque and many others with the view of Taj Mahal. Spend around 1 hour at this monument.

Next after visiting Agra Fort you will proceed for a lunch break. You will enjoy the lunch at 5 Star hotel in Agra.
6. Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
After Lunch break, you will continue your Agra sightseeing. You will Itimad-Ud-Daulah. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
7. Mehtab Bagh
After visiting Baby Taj, you will visit Mehtab Bagh also known as the Sunset Point. Explore the rear view of Taj Mahal from across the river Yamuna. This place is perfect for photographers, who love taking pictures. Please note: this is an optional building, if you have time.

Later we drop you back to Agra Railway Station at 05:00 PM, our guide would help you find your train coach and make sure get seated properly. Your train will depart from Agra Railway Station at 05:50 PM in the evening. Your train will arrive back at Delhi Station around 07:30 PM and our driver will be waiting for you outside your train coach.
9. New Delhi
Pick-Up from your train coach in Delhi, when your train arrives back at station and then sit in your air conditioned vehicle. Our driver will drop you back to your hotel / airport in Delhi / NCR

I have just visited the taj mahal and my guide is amazing. He took great photographs for me. He knows all the angles. I have booked with him and he was super responsive all the time on email. The taj mahal is not clear because this time of the year it is foggy that is not his fault. Thank you for such a memorable time.

We just completed a fantastic private tour of Agra with our guide Faiz. His English was very good and his knowledge was extensive. The sky cleared somewhat over the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and he took some nice pictures. He also helped us find a great tapestry and jewelry store. He made sure we saw what we wanted to see and insured that we returned to our train on time. One of our best guides and you should ask for him on your trip to Agra!

Fez was excellent! If you want to see Agra efficiently, safely and learn a lot about the history, Fez will not disappoint. His English is excellent and very easy to understand. Plus he was constantly keeping us informed on the time line so we never had any doubt on what to expect. HIGHLY recommend!!

We had a great time. Taj Mahal and the Red Fort was amazing. Good history lesson, good food for lunch and we did not have to think about where we were going or how because Shaan the guide and Amir the driver took really well care of us. Skipping the lines were super.

Faisan was my guide and dis a very nice job. He was very informative, helpful and a pleasure to spend time with.
The tour was well planned, and I had no issues at all. Some things to keep in mind:
If you are solo, it will just be you. Still worth it.
My train was on time and snacks / small meal were served. However, delays are possible to be prepared.
Do not forget to negotiate. Negotiate the picture prices and the prices at the shop(s) you stop at. You don't have to accept what is offered immediately. I keep forgetting to do this.
It is good if you come with some background already, but ask questions.
You will likely see a number of other tourists on the train, so I can be nice to have a conversation.

A great tour. Ali Hyder and Jeetu were an amazing duo - guide and driver respectively. Ali was extremely knowledgeable and kept our two kids ages 12 and 10 engaged the whole time during our visit to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Baby Taj. Jeetu was a very safe and careful driver. Would definitely recommend this day trip from Delhi.

Taj Mahal Day Trip from Delhi by Super fast Train

Our trip started with a fast train ride from Delhi to Agra. Aamir (guide) and Salman (driver in Agra) were able to plan our tour perfectly including all the needed stops. Aamir was fabulous with all the history and details about the Taj Mahal and the surrounding areas. Lunch at the Two Saints restaurant accommodated our request for Vegan friendly food options. We returned to Delhi by a private car in time for New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2024.
